Comfortable and great location
I stayed there for one night and appreciated the welcoming and friendly service from the Italian and Spanish-speaking host and hostess of this charming B&B. I'd go back anytime, and certainly appreciated the early check in, which allowed for me to leave my luggage, do a quick change before heading out to explore this beautiful city. I LOVED the location, so close to Termini (no long walks with luggage, it's about 5 minutes from the train station), and friendly hostess.
The room was large, had a single bed and a bunk bed, a small night table, a long shelf, chair, flat screen television and an over-sized cupboard with plentiful storage space, and full length mirror. The bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are clean and crisp. The room is very very clean. The shared bathroom is spotless, super clean, just like the kitchen and other areas. What you see on the photos are what you get. No surprises, it's cute. Breakfast included delicious coffee, juice, assorted croissants and brioches, jam and delightful conversation with other guests and our hostess. I was given a map, and great advice about what to see and do, the location of grocery stores, and other such things. My room overlooked the road, yet the noise from the outdoor cafe was absolutely not a problem whatsoever at night or early mornings. Great sound insulation from the outdoor noises. The light in the room is dim and the bathroom is shared, so that can be problematic if everyone wants to shower in the morning.
Overall, this B&B is terrific and I would go back anytime. I recommend it to you....if you can find availability, it seems to be sold out often... It's a definite winner! Grazie mille!

Avoid
Pathetic - booked a room with this place 6 months before travelling from Australia to Rome. Confirmed the booking twice however In the middle of a 35 hour flight the Marcelina cancelled my booking leaving a family of four stranded in Rome airport at 10 pm with no idea where to stay. Hopeless, avoid at all costs.

Dont trust the pictures in the websites
Although i booked a room with airconditioner, it wasnt working. There was only a fan at the ceiling. One night we stayed there and next morning we complained about the situation, the working guy juana said that he could change our room with the one in another building, which was a block away and in the fifth floor. We accepted to change as he said everything was the same as we booked the one except for the size of the room. However, it wasnt. It wasnt clean enough and there wasnt breakfast. We had to stay in a room called india in when in rome b&b and it was terrible. The flush wasnt working. There were little insects under our pillow. I dont want to remember it.

You get what you pay for
We stayed two nights and that was about all I would recommend. There were four of us and two other rooms with guests and we all shared two full baths. Though this was fine with us we were ready for an unoccupied guarantee by day three of our travels. But with that said this place is so cheap in comparison to other places and it was clean and the breakfast lady was super sweet. Also the location was enough to pay for itself. We were at the hotel, checked in, bags dropped off and on our way within 15 minutes of arrival in Rome. Can't be beat. We also had a very early train to catch and we had a 5 minute walk to the train station. It was also very easy to find since it was so near the train station. I will stay here again with family, but I would not for a romantic weekend.

Expérience plus que désagréable.
Arrivé à l'adresse indiquée. Celle de Marcelina. Nous avons été renvoyé vers leur "second" bâtiment. Qui lui est situé dans un quartier que je n'apprécie pas à Rome... Quartier sale, bruyant...
Comme les photos le montrent la chambre est à la limite de l'insalubrité.
La literie laisse à désirer. Les oreillers d'une dureté digne d'un siège auto.
Mais le top du top est l'arrivée d'autres voyageurs en pleine nuit. Qui aurait pu passée incognito si le proprio en lui même ne mettait pas le bazard: Je parle très fort. Je claque les portes je balance les clés sur les meubles. Tant qu'à faire allons y gaiement. Sur notre dernière nuit nous avons seulement dormi 3 heures...
Les autres voyageurs ne semblaient pas non plus connaître la vie en communauté.
Bref à éviter absolument sur Rome !
