Great experience in Onyx Suite

Great experience, quiet place, utilities are great. No problem at all with codes as other people. The only tiny problem we could pinpoint is a dysfunctional Bluetooth system in the room but it didn’t bothered at all. The location of the hotel is not the best among other MiHotels in Lyon but overall it was really a great experience, maybe a little overpriced for the content, but as far as I am concerned it was a comfortable place.

Not really a hotel

I don't think this property belongs in Hotels.com. It's really a type of air b-n-b, except that it seems to be owned by a corporate entity. We're fairly experienced travelers, but anyone looking for a hotel experience, especially newcomers to France or to a city, should skip this. It's quiet, in a good location, BUT: 4 separate codes are required to access the property -- for the courtyard, for the outer door, then the inner door and finally the room door. The door locks often are difficult to open. The staff hours (at a different location) are 10am to 7pm. Good luck if you arrive outside those hours. It appears to have been dictated by a designer fascinated by Nordic minimalism rather than travelers' needs. A trivial but typical example: the lights are controlled by pads on the wall. Of course the pads are totally black in the dark even if you could find them. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Wonderful stay in Presqu'ile, Lyon

The MiHotel is an unusual type hotel. It is really an apartment flat. There is no reception desk, you are given key codes to get in a set of doors. The apartments are beautiful and spacious, with everything very new. The bar is well stocked and the prices are reasonable. In Lyon we stayed on Rue Sala, which is only one block from Bellacour Square. That whole section of the city is very walkable, even crossing over to Old Lyon.

Una truffa via Booking

Mihotel Sala è una truffa perpetrata via Booking, un sito di cui mi sono sempre fidata ma che non useró mai più. Ho prenotato quella che nella foto è presentata come una junior suite e mi sono trovata in un vecchio stabile in centro a Lyon, in un vecchio appartamento con due camere vendute separatamente, poco pulito e privo di dotazioni di sicurezza ad esempio estintori. On ogni caso un appartamento, non un hotel. Lo sconsiglio assolutamente
