Nice spot outside city but still super close
Really nice hotel located just on the outskirts of Barcelona City. Easy to access the metro and tram within seconds. Nice walk to the beach. You can walk along the beach boardwalk and be in the centre within about 40 minutes brisk walk. Hotel breakfast is exceptional - so much choice including cava and a chocolate fountain! Comfy rooms. Good shower. Very deep but thin bath.
Rooftop pool a lot smaller than it looks so can get busy - cold but refreshing. Quite a lot of beds to chill out on. Food in restaurant was very good and drinks very good price

The hotel itself is not safe enough. My husband got snatched of his necklace on our last night of stay. It is just 10 steps outside the hotel.

I had to leave at 6h50 and breakfast only started at 7am. The previous evening i nicely asked at réception if they could make a me a small doggy bag as i prepaid my breakfast in my booking or if i could quickly zip in to grab a pièce of bread and a fruit and that was simply refused!...
Not the best of service....😡
Especially as my colleague who had the same constraints as me was staying at the PRINCESS hotel opposite SB ( whose breakfast also starts at 7) made her a full picnic box. 🙏

I don’t recommend
We were a group of four people who stayed at this hotel for two nights.
First of all, I would like to mention that the staff were very kind and professional throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was also convenient, and the rooms were clean and well maintained.
However, the main issue was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Every time someone opened their door or walked through the hallway, the noise could be clearly heard inside the room. In addition, the air conditioning units were extremely noisy. Unfortunately, because of these issues, we were unable to have a peaceful and comfortable sleep during our stay.
Another major problem was that the toilet flush systems in both of our rooms were broken and did not work properly. We informed the reception several times, but nobody came to repair them. As a result, we had to repeatedly use the restroom near the reception area instead.
Despite the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly behavior of the reception and housekeeping staff, I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. When guests cannot sleep properly or even use the bathroom comfortably, it becomes difficult to justify paying between €200 and €300 per night.

Really nice hotel
Didn't know what to expect after seeing some mixed reviews, but we booked it anyway as we needed a hotel the night before joining a cruise. Well, I'm pleased to report that the hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were warm, friendly and our check in was great. The room was available sooner than expected, which was really appreciated, and it was perfect. We were on the 14th floor, so it was nice and peaceful. Finally, the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. The location was good. Slightly out of the city, but right next to taxis, trams and the hop on, hop off bus. There's also a lovely shopping centre within a 2-3 minute walk away with some great restaurants. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. We are well travelled and have stayed in some amazing places, but we wouldn't hesitate in giving this a 5 star review.
