Great value, great staff, great location

Had a marvellous experience at Aspenalt Lodge! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms, whilst a little dated were super clean with very comfortable beds. These are great value rooms in a great location to not only Basalt town centre but only 20 minutes from Aspen!
You can tell this establishment is locally owned by people who genuinely care about providing a quality product at an affordable price. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend to friends and family!

a cheaper, though not cheap, alternative to Aspen. basic breakfast. door to room a bit stuck. pleasant staff.

HORRIBLE experience on our last day. House keeping BANGED non stop on the door at 8:30am kicking us out. I was in pajamas and she would not let me close the door and get dressed. Then, they violated our privacy and went into our room when we were packing the car and making trips with our bags. We had to check all of our stuff to make sure nothing was taken since the situation was so abnormal. We travel a lot and I’ve never seen anything like this! Location was amazing, but wasn’t worth the horrible Sunday morning 8:30am kick out.

Stayed for 2 nights there, the room was very clean and maids even took the time to fold the towels nicely and made it feel welcoming. The breakfast was good and there was a 3 hour window for breakfast which was nice. Staff is friendly and overall the place was really nice. Thank you for our stay!
