The lady Indian receptionist was the nicest I have ever met. The breakfast is generous. Everything is super clean. The location is great. The owner is efficient and friendly.

Good choice in Birmingham

Central, party location and very good price. The main train station also very close
(15 min walk). Kitchen is very clean and full, but breakfast very basic
(tea, coffee, toast with jam, some fruit). Community area nice, but people not to communicative, no hello or hi back when you say...no manners. Bathroom have many showers but toilets is 3 only (ground floor).
Room is big shared room 3 level bunk beds. Have a locker but need bring the padlock.

I stayed here for 2 nights while travelling for leisure, the staff provided good service but weren't really chatty chatty, but thats not a huge problem, check in was very fast, the facilities were outstanding such as the shower and bathrooms and it was nice to see an actual kitchen where people cook their own food, never have i seen that in a hostel, one thing with hostels is i always get put on the highest bunk possible, seeing im young and reasonably light i have no problem getting up, but most hostels have painful metal tiny ladders, the ladder in this room was wide and smooth wood, much more easy to access, the only negative experience i had was the room being incredibly stuffy at night given the current weather and being next to a load of night clubs, but other than that i believe u get what you pay for, exceptional budget accommodation

I stayed at a property with the same name, in the same location and had been avoiding this place since that bad experience but after seeing pics online figured I'd try it. And I couldn't have been more surprised! The place I stayed at before was nasty dingey twisting little place with rude staff that felt like sleeping in someone's druggy cousins spare room.
This was a very professional and modern hostel with all the convenient amenities you could need and well designed and implemented rooms. The bunks are comfortable and provide great privacy with their curtains. There are lockers for each bed, both the beds and lockers are labelled. The kitchen and lounge were both fine. There are big communal bathrooms, toilets and showers on each level. My only con was that the hot water went out in the middle of my shower and I had to run downstairs to the main bathrooms to finish my shower. But other than that I had a great experience here and would definitely stay again.

Staff and the premises very good but other tenants snoring at night made it bit difficult to sleep or else ambience is very good.
