perfect for a short stay in cologne

pretty easy check in, although we had to wait 45 mins after our check in time but the staff were lovely and helpful. the room was fine for the price we paid, two beds, a fridge, a bathroom with a shower, and hairdryer. great price and location is good- despite being about a half an hour walk from the city center, it’s not too far and has great transport links and shops nearby.

Catastrophic

This “hotel” is an absolute imposition and should not be operated in this way. What is offered here as accommodation is unacceptable in every respect. The rooms are in extremely poor condition and far away from anything you would think of as a hotel.
The layout of the room is completely absurd: The toilet is open in the middle of the room, without any partition. The shower is located right at the end of the bed in the room – privacy and hygiene simply do not exist here. Above the bed there was clearly visible mould on the ceiling, which is not only disgusting but also dangerous to health. Likewise, a “shower” was covered with mold.
In addition, both the walls and the beds were clearly dirty. Overall, everything seemed unkempt, run-down and obviously not properly cleaned for a long time. The bathroom in the second room was also in a catastrophic state.
The third booked room was not even finished when we arrived. Scheduling guests with unfinished rooms is completely unacceptable.
Added to this is the complete failure of service: There were no staff on site. The code for the front door was transmitted by telephone, and we had to pick out the room cards for all three rooms we booked ourselves at the so-called “reception” from drawers. Such a chaotic and dubious process is simply unacceptable.
Overall, the stay was a single disaster. Hygiene, organisation and service are failing here across the board. Price and performance are not in any proportion whatsoever. Booking is strongly discouraged.

Disaster

The hotel was an absolute disappointment. The toilet was in the middle of the room – no door or curtain – and you couldn’t feel comfortable at all. The sink was dirty and full of hair. No one was there at the reception at several times; we even stood twice ten minutes outside the door because it was not opened. For the price, the hotel is definitely not recommended.
