A hotel located in a very quiet and beautiful area
The hotel is located about 25 minutes from the railway station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof) and tram stop is 70 meters (Station Festspielhaus Hellerau). It can be reached by tram 8. Historic center (Theaterplatz station) is 20 minutes away by tram 8.
The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is large and clean, equipped with TV, fridge, and there is the possibility of self catering. The private bathroom is large and very clean. Room and bathroom are cleaned every day. Breakfast is varied and tasty (Breakfast buffet continental and English Breakfast ).The restaurant where breakfast is served is very well arranged and clean.
The only problem is that Wifi has weak signal

Good for a short stopover
Situated on the outskirts of Dresden it is easily accessed from the motorway (5 mins) Tram connection to city 150 metres from hotel - 20 mins to city centre. Arrival was awkward it was raining and there was no access to hotel just a note on the door to ring a number and someone would come - fortunately another German speaker was there and he did the speaking! Someone arrived within 5 minutes but.... A good room which had a fridge and two rings so you could self cater if necessary - but no pots and pans. Very clean and nice mattress on bed. Not too hard but certainly not soft. Heating worked well which was necessary at the end of June this year. Shower room could do with a refresh - curtain and partitions are past their best. Breakfast was great served in the adjoining restaurant. Good choice of continental breakfast and plenty of choice of teas or coffee. Restaurant serves great meals in the evening but not on Mondays - which day did we arrive - Monday of course! Not a lot of choice of other eating places close at hand. It is close to the airport and there was aircraft noise but not enough to spoil the place. Adequate parking space adjacent to the hotel off the road. Wifi was fine. Good value for money - with a little TLC it would improve greatly

WiFi pursuit
Staff disappeared shortly after checking in, without explaining basic things and services at the hotel. Since I couldn't get the password for the WiFi, I spend all afternoon desperately trying to connect, as it was very important for my presentation the next day. I went down to the reception, but there was no one there, just a note at the door that he will be back at 5 pm. After getting the password, the WiFi was still not working, so I went out determined to go to the city centre to dial myself into the internet. As it was dark, I went back and suddenly the internet was accessible (probably someone complained). I spent half the night working on my presentation. Apart from this, the room was very clean, tidy and functional and the breakfast lush.

When we arrived later at night around 21:00 We still was very welcome and served perfect late dinner for our family.Thanks to kitchen Sheff-goulash where delicious.Every one was very nice and friendly..,rooms very spacious and clean.Good location,free parking and all this for very reasonable price.Me and my family third time there and we Love this cozy little hotel...Thanks

Great spot.
My wife and I spent two days here, as others have said there is a tram to the front door that takes you straight into the city.....very handy.
The rooms were very comfortable and cosy....we loved it. There is ample car parking and some shops approx 1 klm up the road, bakery, supermarket etc.
The breakfast was good with a large variety to choose from and the lady at the main reception was very helpful even washing our clothes for us without any fuss.
We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend to other travellers :)
