Perfect!

The hotel is very well located for discovering Lyon. Easy access to the train stations and near the subway stations.
The hotel is clean and smiles and kindness are present from the moment you arrive. The room is spacious and clean as well. The equipment is perfect (hair dryer, coffee/tea available). Cold drinks in the fridge, quiet and functional air conditioning.
The bed is comfortable.
Full breakfast with something for everyone!
In short, we will be back!
Thank you all for your kindness, your availability, your hard work, and your smiles!

The A/C was ok, it didn't get very cold but it was better than outside. The main issue was that the A/C leaked and it leaked right on our beds in the middle of the night so it was not a great experience. The location was fine, but in retro spect I would have stayed north of place belacour. at least it was a quiet location at night.

Basic, mattress on floor

Very basic, the location was shady after dark. Would not recommend for single travellers. Double room had a mattress on the floor, no bed frame. Not everyone's cup of tea. Just a room to sleep in. No amenities to speak of. Near Bellecort plaza an close to public parking.

We highly recommend Hôtel la Résidence.

Very quiet hotel; La Résidence is ideally located for visiting Lyon.
Our room was very clean and spacious.
The staff is very pleasant, and the breakfast buffet is varied and hearty.
Nothing but positive!!!
The hotel recommended a parking lot located a 5-minute walk away to park our car, which was handled by a valet. We are very happy with it.
Hôtel la Résidence is an address to remember for a potential future stop in the superb city of Lyon.

This is great location to stay if you’re considering staying in Lyon. The metro, buses and other means of transportation are close. Plenty of places you can walk to from here. Although we came when the weather was hotter than usual, and understand that buildings were not made to ensure hot weather I just wish that the air conditioning on our room was able to cool our room down a little better. Other than that I’d stay here every time!
