Syyskuussa 2018 avattu hotelli sijaitsee Storo Storcenter -ostoskeskuksen vieressä Oslossa, Storon ja Nydalenin kaupunginosien välissä ja noin 5 km:n päässä keskustasta. Paikan päällä on ravintola, baari ja kuntokeskus.

The room was really nice, very spacious but so soundproof though. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I had so far, although the breakfast area was very crowded and busy.

2, 3 and 4 stars !
Stayed here for one Night during a businesstrip. Not easy to park here. A parking garage on the back of the hotel charged us 350 nok (35 euro) for 7 hours. Nice and inviting but somewhat dark lobby and frontdesk. Nice front desk staff. Nice bar and restaurant, but expensive as always in Norway. Wonderful medium hard beds. The rooms are fairly large. But cheap-isch furniture that are dented everywere. 2 stars for the furniture in the rooms. Large and wonderful bathrooms with fantastic floorheating, no cold feets here. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding. With a very large amount of things to choose from. 5 stars for the breakfast. But the staff was not nice to us. And they were not nice to a waiter from Nigeria or some other african country. The other younger staffmembers were evil to him, I do NOT expect that from a Norwegian hotel. Would I stay at this hotel again ? Yes, mostly due to the fantastic breakfast.

The parking facilities are independently operated by an external company, Time Park, which is responsible for the parking fees and conditions. Modern hotel with low price

A very good experience at Thon Hotel Storo. The hotel looks modern and stylish, with rooms that are both comfortable and well-maintained. I especially liked the spacious rainforest shower, which gave a little extra luxury feeling after a long day.
The breakfast was a clear highlight – varied, fresh and with many great options, whether you want something light or a more solid start to the day.
A slightly unexpected, but practical plus was the ice-bit machine in the hallway. Small details like this draw the overall impression and make your stay more pleasant.
Overall a very good hotel with a high standard, but not quite at the top level – that’s why it lands on strong 4 stars.

Ideal for a city break to Oslo
We stayed for four nights in April 2026 at Thon Storo. The location of the hotel is good, with the T 5, station Storo, you are after four stops in the center. From the airport to the hotel you should allow about 45 - 50 minutes (1 x change Oslo S).
The hotel is mostly visited by business guests. Our room was adequately dimensioned, but it had less daylight due to location courtyard in the 2nd floor. Stock and what is definitely missing is storage space in the form of a small cabinet. Also, it can not be completely darkened what can be an issue for some guests.
The bathroom is spacious and well equipped.
The highlight of the hotel is the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired and offers really remarkably many options. ‘The’ plus point of the hotel and ‘very big cinema’.
We were surprised that on Sunday evening the hotel's bar / restaurant had closed, unusual for such a large hotel.
Regardless, it is a clear recommendation and the value for money is very good.
Tip 1: Buy Oslo Pass, more than 30 museums and public transport are included. For 3 days you currently pay 995 NOK (90,- Euro).
Tip 2: With the app ‘Ruter’ you have an overview of all public transport.
