Good value/Good value

This B&B was a great find! The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the city. We enjoyed the attention to detail and warm hospitality of Bernard and his adorable dog Cleo.

Not to miss

Bernard’s welcome is both friendly and personalized. He gives you good advice for enjoying Quebec and its surroundings. The breakfast is delicious and tastefully presented. The room is comfortable and carefully decorated.
What a joy to chat with our host. Don't hesitate, you will be won over.

Favorable price for location near old town with spacious clean rooms by charming host

Very favorable price for what was provided as: Perfect location in a calm street in easy walking distance to Québecs old town; Very spacious guest rooms elegantly furnitured and decorated (incl. sofa & chimney); Comfortable beds; House, rooms, bathroom, everything very clean; Shared bathroom with rain shower; Lovingly made breakfast with fruits, home made pancakes and coffee; And in the end: all served and provided by a very charming host with his sweet little dog, that was a pleasure to meet and talk to during breakfast and who explained some interesting things about Québec's history and the current life in the city

Over booking again..

Had the same adventure as NatashaS92 , we booked a luxury queen room because of the super location of this place near old Quebec. At our arrival he told us that Booking.com had overbooked his place and we had to sleep in a small room on a old sofa bed. The two others rooms looks real nice, the owner was very nice but nevertheless we had to still pay full price.

Met our needs, but not at all special; good location in upper Quebec City

The B&B is located 1 km north of the walled entry, in a nice residential/commercial area with surrounding restaurants, etc. It was quiet at night. Room was comfortable and the A/C was effective and quiet. The bathroom/shower was clean and bright. The sink is in the bedroom area and was less well lit. Overall the room was a bit dark.
Annoyance was that check-in was supposed to be 5 PM, but a sign on the door said 5:30 PM (we had a 7 PM dinner reservation, and felt time restricted). However, even 5 PM check-in seems a bit late.
Breakfast was OK, with juice, fruit, commercially prepared breads, etc. Pancakes were the worst ever... no taste. Eggs (baked) the next day were better.
Bernard, the inn keeper, was pleasant and spoke English reasonably well but didn't exude a welcoming spirit.
Parking in the area is difficult and requires using metered or pay lots from 8 AM to 5 PM.
There is good bus service one block away on Rue Rene Levesque.
Walking distance to the Musee Nationale des Beaux Artes and Plains of Abraham Park area, as well as to the Old City areas. About 2 km walk to the funicular.
There is a pet dog on the premises for those with allergies.
