DREAM VACATION, SPECTACULAR!

I will explain this magnificent hotel to perfection:
BEACH: A dream location, crystal-clear water, calm sea, white sand, a wonder of nature!
Naturally, it is so perfect because behind this paradise there is A PERSON NAMED "BERTO" IN CHARGE OF THE CARE OF THIS BEACH with his staff.
100% clean, lounge chairs always IN ORDER, the cleanliness of the sand, there isn't EVEN a speck of dirt, it is always impeccable, with machinery that levels it at 7 in the morning, a superlative order and 5-star luxury care!
Thanks to people like this who dedicate themselves to doing their own job with such fantastic passion, creating a perfect beach!
RECEPTION:
Kind, friendly, and professional staff; WORTH HIGHLIGHTING (DAVIDE), a great reception professional, his kindness is superlative!
RESTAURANT:
The food is very good; breakfast is buffet-style, lunch and dinner are table service with a choice of 4 first courses and 4 second courses, fruit, and desserts! Dishes for celiacs available ON the menu!
AND HERE TOO A GREAT PROFESSIONAL THAT I MUST HIGHLIGHT IS THE MAITRE D' (LUIGI). A great professional in his sector, attentive, available for every request; thanks to him, everything runs to perfection.
ROOM CLEANING:
Impeccable, everything always perfectly clean, punctual, nothing was ever missing.
ROOM:
Very modern with good, all-new furniture, small balcony with chairs and a small table, perfect air conditioning with its remote control that lets you manage the temperature to your liking, comfortable bed, and a very spacious room.
Soft entertainment:
Kind and polite guys.
In summary, I 100% recommend this hotel, if you are looking for relaxation and tranquility in a unique location, you are 50 m from the BEACH!

Beautiful hotel and beautiful nature

Very good! We have traveled a lot and experienced a lot and this is a very good hotel! The hotel is in a beautiful area. Was a little skeptical when we traveled due to varying feedback on Tripadvisor. If you read up a little before you go, you see that the hotel is located a bit outside the city centre, you are interested in walking distance to many restaurants and shops you do not live here. You take the bus right outside the hotel into Alghero which has everything you can want, we also had a car for a few days, otherwise we ate a few days at a restaurant right above the hotel. At the hotel it becomes a bit expensive in length 35 euro per person + drink. Otherwise it is very clean on the whole area as well as the rooms, the family room had additionally 2 bathrooms which was perfect, the sea is clock clear and the staff are friendly and helpful. We are very pleased and really recommend this beautiful hotel. Read up on what you want of location - if you want peace and relaxation this is really the place for you!

Negative!!

Very, very, very disappointed! We expected MUCH BETTER! No class, yet we are far from being snobs! Garden furniture instead of an indoor lounge, an enormous terrace without any umbrellas in 38 degrees, rooms furnished like a 1-star hotel, 2 mini shower gels and 2 mini soaps for a 3-night stay! A private beach where the first row of umbrellas and loungers by the water costs an additional €20 per day! A 4-star hotel where you can see a fabulous multicolored display on the balconies, where am I?
In short, let's move on to dining; at the bar at noon, salad according to the chef's mood, one day good, the next... The hotel restaurant is very nice, but that's all! The servers are worth the detour, not one to redeem the other; however, we noticed that the Italians were better served than us, who are only staying for 3 nights, we are the EXTRAS, they don't care! For €35, you are served with a slingshot, the dishes are thrown on the table; at least we have the menu in French, but it should be avoided for big eaters! The desserts... no choice, you take what you are given, and it is low-quality pastry. Tonight's main course features 3 strips of bell peppers and 2 anchovies, a feast fit for kings after some pasta with clams... 2, sorry, I wasn't offered cheese, of course, to the Italians! I am hungry...! By the way, my husband got the menu, but I did not , and the dessert... I give it 10 stars Sorry for my lamenting!!! And I am surely forgetting some things! To be avoided

A rejuvenating week

I must premise that reading some reviews about the internal restaurant I was quite worried...
Instead I must say that the facility 3 meters from the sea... very beautiful... is very convenient... adequate pool... rooms with good air conditioning, cleanliness and kindness of the staff in every sector excellent... and last but not least, I took full board and the meals are all excellent... rich breakfast... lunch and dinner with first course, second course, and dessert to choose from 4 dishes... fish, meat, everything fresh, well cooked with excellent combinations and well plated... if I have to find a flaw... I would not have charged for water in the restaurant... and vacuuming sand and pine needles on the tennis court... rating... 9

Hotel Porto Conte❤️passed with flying colors

It is the second consecutive year that I have come to Hotel Porto Conte.
I find it much improved in terms of catering.
Impeccable and excellent cuisine.
Gourmet plating and varied menus every day.
Spectacular breakfasts where you find everything and more.
The service exceeds every expectation.
The waiters are very fast at serving the tables and very attentive to the service.
Perfect room cleanliness.
The girls at the bar are excellent and manage things in the best way.
Cordiality reigns at the reception.
The lifeguards Marco, Giorgio, and especially Umberto (whom I already knew from last year) manage the beach with attention and passion.
Helpful, kind people who always manage to satisfy every request.
I truly recommend a vacation at this hotel because it has every comfort imaginable.
You will definitely return home rested and happy.
