Clean hotel with friendly staff

After a quite bad night at a dirty cheap hotel nearby I decided to change to this hotel that I had read about in Lonely Planet. Although the price of the room was double the amount that was stated in lonely planet ( I paid 825 rupees for a non-AC room). I recommend this hotel. They have clean rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. I would although suggest to not use their inhouse restaurant which is not clean at all, bad food and unpleasant staff. There are 2 nice restaurants just across the road that you can use instead.

They sold the rooms to us but it wasn’t available.
Only upon checking in at 11pm, they’re checking to see if they can give us the rooms.

Family stay at Hotel Krishna Park

Arrived late in the evening from Mahabalipuram and checked into this hotel with family. It was two rooms with a small room on entering and then a bigger bedroom. The first room had a stale stench to it probably because of no ventilation and moisture which had permeated to the bedroom too. Bought a room freshener without any thought to deal with the situation. The extra bed was also not upto the mark. Overall, a poor choice for families.

Hotel Stay

I recently was in Chennai and stayed in Hotel Krishna International a unit of Krishna International Hotels (Chennai) Pvt Ltd. I asked for one Non A/C room on single occupancy basis. The counter clerk informed that Non A/C room is not available, however, one A/C room is available where A/C is not functional and therefore he will charge for a Non A/C room @ Rs 715/- per night. I occupied that room. The room was not good, clean as also tidy. Window could not be opened may be jammed because they installed an A/C which was not functional. I however managed my stay since I was there for one night only. However to my utter surprise that at the time of my check out the another counter clerk prepared the bill @ Rs 1856/- (Rs 1650 room rent + Rs 206 service tax) and charged full amount. He was very rude deducted @ Rs 1856/- from the advance I paid. Under these circumstances, I shall never recommed this hotel.

budget hotel.. cant compain.

dont ever use their in house restaurant (nellaiyappar royal restaurant) rude staff, no tissues, no one cares, proud manager
