Mix Peru Playa is 5 minutes’ walk from Playa de Palma Beach and a 10-minute drive from Palma town centre. It offers a 24-hour bar and rooms with a private balcony. The rooms at the Mix Peru Playa feature tiled floors and simple décor.

Catastrophe...Please do not book!!!!
Already upon our arrival in the room we were confronted with a massive hygiene problem: Several large cockroaches were in the room – and not just occasionally. Room facilities were very basic and not in good condition.
A major safety problem was that the balcony door was locked with only a small lever. The outside blind was not lockable, which made the room absolutely not burglar-proof. Of particular concern: Our accommodation was on the first floor, which was below street level – the balcony was freely accessible from the walkway.
Our room was also right next to the garbage drop area, which made the situation even worse. On our request for another room, it was only pointed out succinctly that the hotel was fully booked. Communication with staff was disappointing and not solution-oriented.
Conclusion: An absolutely unacceptable hotel – we checked out again that night and looked for another place to stay. Not recommended!

ROBBERY AT THE HOTEL
THEY STEAL FROM THE HOTEL! And it is the staff themselves, they stole all my cash and the wallet intact that I left hidden among my clothes, they also stole two creams valued at 140€, when we went down to make the claim sheet apart from little surprise that there were thefts, they proposed that we would be paid 2 nights for the inconvenience to not make claim sheet LIE! I stayed with my mother she left and I stayed a few more days in Mallorca in another hotel of course, never arrived that refund besides being less important than what was stolen, before I left Palma de Mallorca I went back to the hotel to make the claim and they passed me by phone to the owner of the hotel where I threatened that if I made the claim they would not return me the two nights, I did not count on it because almost a week passed and they dragged out of the return, it is unpresentable the hotel manager and all the staff who work there. A hotel embarrassment, you nefarious. They annoyed me the holidays to go and report everything and the disgust that it entails, people who touch your belongings and take advantage of it. Horrifying experience, not to mention that the TV did not work, a small bathroom and that they do not respect the signs do not disturb.

Problems over problems
Very bad experience. We arrived and had a broken window in the bathroom. When we reported this, we were told we had to pay money or leave the hotel immediately and immediately. Even after several attempts to explain that this window was broken even before we arrived, we had to pay money against our will for something we had nothing to do with.
We had also booked a room with breakfast, but when we asked for breakfast on the first three days, we were told that was not there and we had to pay 10 euros extra. Only on the last night we were told that it was a mistake and we should have had breakfast all along. Thanks for that.
That and many other incidents were not even so bad for us – we also had no high demands on the hotel (due to the many negative reviews). The worst was the uncooperative staff and the unwillingness to have an open conversation and a normal conversation with those responsible. We felt like we were in a bad movie. It's a shame because you could have avoided a lot of inconvenience.
Other hotel guests we spoke to told of similar situations. Overall, a very bad experience that I cannot recommend to anyone.

Still a NoNo!!!!!!
I booked this hotel without reading reviews. When I read them I was hoping as they were old reviews things would be different. NO,, certainly nothing had changed, awful.
although: I can give 2 positives!
1.The bed was clean, sheets & covers perfect.
2.The staff- lovely, really nice & helpful.
It’s certainly a German Hotel & for parties, very loud & noisy.
Our stay happened to be during a German festival when we arrived and we were offered a move.
Fantastic service and moved to a sister hotel which is lovely.

Disappointment
We arriwed to hotel, the building looked amazing, we were exciting, finally we are going to live in 2 starses hotel! But it was not like that... Everything was so poor, the room was ok, big with a balcony. But when I saw sheet, it looked like someone was spleeping there and it was dirty too! In the bathroom was something broken and water in the sink did not drain... Honesly, It is worse than some hostals. The best thing waas the personal. They tried to fix everything, they bring us new sheets and towels.... The breakfast was very poor too, but I saw the personal again that they try to do everything right and with love.. It is the old hotel.
