An impeccable hostel with great staff

The location of the hostel is great, it's located right in Sofia's heart - Vitoshka, there were lots of restaurants, clubs and everything you'd need. The room I stayed in was very cozy, and this is the first hostel with comfortable and clean beds I've visited in my life. The staff was very helpful, the room was beautiful and as I already said - very clean. My gratitude to the hostess, Jasmine, she answered every question I had and made it very easy for me to navigate through the city.

Hostellin omistajalla / johtajalla ei ole johtamistaitoja. Varasin varauksen ja sain vahvistuksen varauksen ja täyden maksun suorittamiseksi 11.4.2019. Viikon kuluttua Alexander Levitt lähetti sähköpostin ja ilmoitti päättäneensä peruuttaa varaukseni ja myydä huoneen jollekin muulle, joka osoitti kiinnostusta paljon myöhemmin.
En ole koskaan kuullut laitoksista, jotka voisivat yksipuolisesti ilman pätevää syytä peruuttaa maksun ja varauksen kevyesti.

Väärä osoite he ovat muuttaneet.

He antoivat minulle osoitteen 55 vitosha Boulevard 1000, tämä on väärässä, että he ovat siirtyneet toiseen osoitteeseen Knyaz Boris 145 kadulla. Umpikujaan ei tapahdu mitään kuin heidän vanha hostelli, he eivät ole päivittäneet verkkosivujaan tai muuta verkkosivustoa, älä viitsi varautua näihin ihmisiin, erittäin epäkohtelias ja hostelli on nyt roskaa. Hyvin ärsytti tästä.

Worse expérience ever, to avoid at all cost

We were travelling in bulgaria with my classmates from university and a few teachers and booked this hostel for our last night in sofia. Words cannot describe how surprised and angry we were when we realised that we have been fooled by the managers of this place. The picture you can find on internet do not correspond at all with the reality : it is un fact not the same street, they gave us the wrong adress; not the same building, not the same rooms. After the first chock we asked the neigbours about it and they told us that the so called " levitt smart hostel" has closed and that they dont know about this "new" hostel using the same name : it is a compléte scam !!! The building is incredibly dirty, located in a creepy street, far far différent from the picture you can find on the Internet. There way actually cigarettes and ashes on the floor of our room that were not ready before 6 pm... being left full of dirt and cigarettes on the floor. When we told the manager about the dirt and the cigarettes he simply went away without answering. To avoid at all Costs.

Ok, but not great.

Very complicated automatic check in system with door codes, but with staff sitting in the kitchen who come out after 5 mins to give you your room key...just doesn't make sense.
No hot water in the mornings, have to wait to shower until the afternoon.
We visited in October, good heating in the rooms. As there is no air conditioning or fans, it could be very hot in summer though.
Get breakfast at a cafe outside - cheaper and nicer.
We had a private room... but it was just a dorm room, but all for ourselves. That was fine - if it was full, it would have been very cramped.
