Fab location, breakfast, $ & free parking
The ladies that worked the FD were great, solving a booking error on our part. Super clean, great AC in the heat, microwave in lobby for guest use. B’fast is omelettes with cheese, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits, danish, ETC & until 9:30! From 5-6 there is different cheeses, meats, crackers, grapes, olives. Chocolate chip cookies too at times. So nice to take this plate to our room & eat in the chairs outside with the view. There is also free bottled water in the frig in the lobby (also 2 in your mini frig). Bathroom has 2 bars of soap, bottles of shampoo, conditioner & lotion. It is literally NEXT door to Marion motor lodge but there is FREE parking here & can arrive early & checkout late with it!
They even put out more b’fast when ppl were coming in at 9:20! Location is great!!

Bed bugs don’t stay here
Stayed here with 3 friends. All of us were bit by bedbugs and saw evidence of them on the sheets the next morning. Called and they said there were none and asked if we were bit by mosquitoes when all of us had itchy bites that were def from there and stayed for days. When I looked back at reviews I saw others about bed bugs. Tried to look past the smell of the lobby and the room that smelt old and like moth balls. Contacted management and never heard back. Will not stay here again. Wouldn’t recommend spend a little more and get a better place since it’s expensive for what it is here anyway. Photos attached of bites and sheets

Great Trip
Great location and convenient to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend!

Great Location and visit… with some “Buts”
Always a great visit and am a multi time repeat visitor to the Bayfront Inn. Just a few comments…. I have always tried to book direct as this is supposed to give the best pricing. However, I found many online sites offering cheaper pricing, especially as timing comes to a week or two beforehand.
Lastly…. Bathrooms in the rooms are starting to look tired and in need of TLC.
Location is the best and I’ve will return though!

Very well located but aging
Motel-style hotel ideally located in the center of Saint Augustine facing the sea. The room is clean but the mattresses are worn out and you can feel the springs.
The big problem comes from the smell that completely put us off. When entering the reception (which is also the breakfast room) there is an unbearable smell. In the room there is also a smell (less strong) but disturbing. This really bothered our stay and ruined our breakfast.
The price is too high compared to the quality of the accommodation.

Unfortunaely, we are unable to do anything regarding the city flushing the sewer line, this can cause an odor to come up out of the drains. As for our mattresses they are still pretty new, and don't have springs. We appologize if the mattress was not to your liking.
