Cozy Motel with Perfect Location

We stayed one night at the motel rooms and really enjoyed it. We had two rooms next to each other, with chairs outside to sit and relax. One of the rooms had a small kitchen that was simple but very useful.
The general store has WiFi, but you can only connect there, not in the rooms. In the morning, there’s a mobile coffee truck – definitely try the chocolate scones, they were amazing! There’s also a fire going outside the general store until 10 pm, which was a nice touch.
Across the street there is a breakfast place that looked good, though we didn’t eat there. The location is perfect – the entrance to Lamar Valley is right there.
We loved this place and wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely come back!

Would stay again.

We stayed 2 nights in silver gate cabin #6. Staff was friendly throughout our stay. Spotting scopes set up at store. Saw big horn sheep both days on the mountain behind us. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. WiFi at store only. We had no problem finding food in Silver Gate or Cooke City. Gas too. Yellowstone entrance at Lamar Valley is literally minutes. My only complaint was grass mowing, which they did on our 2nd day. I would not hesitate to book again.
