Fantastic for family fun!!
Went to Gynack Villa for a long weekend with large ( 11 of us) family group. It was fantastic!! The house is amazing with everything you can possibly need provided for you. The owner Sean was a great host and made sure everything ran smoothly for us. Bedrooms were huge as was the rest of the house with plenty of space for us all to spread out. Our kids loved the cinema room as did the adults once the kids went to bed. It was also good that we could all sit comfortably round the dining table to eat as a family instead of eating in small groups as we have done in other rentals.
The whole house just seemed to create a fantastic relaxing atmosphere and everyone remarked that they had had a wonderful weekend.
Kingussie itself is very central for visits to nearby attractions….The Highland Folk Museum…a wonderful place to visit for all ages…and free entry ( tho it suggests you make a donation..we did as it was well worth a donation) Ruthven Barracks a ruin but worth exploring with information boards on site…..Kart Racing in Aviemore which has to be booked but everyone had great fun racing against each other. There are too many activities in this area to name them all but these are a few we actually visited so can confirm they are good to visit.
If we ever manage a huge family reunion again then Gynack Villa will be our first port of call!
