Quiet, cosy, comfortable

Spent a night here off the ferry before travelling on to London.
Really lovely spot. Quiet, cosy, clean, a nice shower/bath and a kettle in the room. Guest lounge downstairs is lovely. Beautifully laid out and maintained and a great place to relax, would suit a group or family really well.
Communicative host, highly recommended.

Exactly what a short simple stay should be . Immaculately clean , well organised , smooth operation , everything in good repair , quaint local history provided .

An average experience at best.

Booked this property during a trip from London to Dublin, we decided to choose Holyhead for a few days due to the proximity to the ferries to Dublin, Ireland. The property is located on a main road close to the actual main transport entrance to the ferry terminal so expect not much sleep. A self check in was easy. Our room was on the second floor via very steep staircases with a marine rope as a hand hold, this might look appealing but is not when you are lugging 18 kg cases up them. The bed in our room was jammed into a corner and barely a king single, we measured it to check. The hot water system in the shower has an issue which guests have to adjust every time they shower. Why not find a plumber with some ability to fix the problem? The common room is closed four hours a day, why? And under CCTV, we assume you enjoyed watching us eat our dinner and possibly over indulging in the cheap snacks on offer. Also apparently this business self rates itself so you have to question why. The best part about this place is the pub next door, a great venue in every sense but stay somewhere else, the price is unjustified for what you receive and servicing of our room was patchy at best.

Loved the ease of check in and the cleanliness. The guest house was also nice, it created a community feel. The only constructive suggestion is better lighting in the bedroom. We are seniors and I would not have been able to read a book in bed due to low light.

Such a comfortable room.

Really easy check in and super helpful on the phone too.
Room and bathroom were very clean and bed was super comfortable. Room temperature was perfect overnight.
Would definitely recommend.
