Relaxing, just us time bit of music no phones

The family that run this beautiful place, they are so lovely!
We have been twice in one month.
Just so relaxing, we can't wait to go again.
We live in a city so a Bbq, hot tub with sauna and a ice tub was just amazing

Shabby and a F1 Silverstone rip off for Quality and comfort.

Stayed whilst attending the F1 race at Silverstone so the price was 3 or 4 times more expensive than normal with extra for the money.
Out of 3 showers only 1 was in full working order.
Was shown to the sheperds hut and shown the bbq and the fire pit which was available for us to use.
God knows when the BBQ had last been cleaned as not a chance would we use it.
The steps up into the hut were surrounded by stinging nettles and the whole patio garden area needed striming back to make it look smarter.
The steps into the hut were in very poor condition and needed to be repaired.
The whole experience could and should have been much better but it wasnt

Hotel luxury meets the great outdoors

​We had an incredible stay in the yurt at Buzzard Holt. Honestly, I was expecting "camping" but the beds were so comfy and the linen was so crisp it felt like staying in a high-end hotel.
​The spa facilities were a massive highlight the perfect way to unwind. Huge thanks to our host, James, who was excellent from start to finish, and his parents were equally lovely and welcoming. There’s plenty to do nearby with great local attractions, too. We truly couldn’t fault a single thing. We'll be back!

Perfect little retreat

In need of a proper break, we discovered Buzzards Holt and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect escape. It’s not too far to travel yet feels wonderfully remote, set in the most peaceful and beautiful location imaginable.
We stayed in Shepherd’s Rest and were absolutely delighted. It’s so cute while still being practical and everything we needed was provided. We arrived at the beginning of February to freezing temperatures and even snow at one point but once the lovely little log burner was lit, the space became so warm and cosy.
The honesty shop is exceptionally well stocked, offering everything from eggs and homemade produce to BBQ equipment, logs, and gas. The shepherd’s hut itself had a stocked fridge, microwave, and much more. The entire site was spotless, with excellent, clean toilets and showers. Although we hadn’t booked specifically for the spa facilities, they were included in the price and turned out to be a real treat.
We were warmly welcomed by the host, who showed us around and made us feel instantly at home. We had one of the best nights’ sleep ever in a super comfortable bed, drifting off to the sound of a barn owl which was absolutely unforgettable.
We would highly recommend Buzzards Holt and will most definitely be returning.
