Best hotel on Haad Rin beach with very comfortable rooms, infinity salt water pool and best spot for the full moon party

Spacious comfortable rooms right on the beach with beautiful fish swimming around the rooms. This hotel is the best place to stay for the full moon party. Friendly helpful staff excellent food and drinks. Huge infinity pool looking at the ocean. Excellent massage right on the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this resort and highly recommend it. I will definitely stay here again when I return and I did return December 26, 2025. Everything couldn’t be any better. This is my favorite place to stay in Haad Rin. All of there staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. A special thank you to Suthee who always greets everyone with his welcoming smile. He and the rest of the staff made me feel like family. I can’t wait to return.

Good location for full moon party

We checked in on the 28th of February for a 2 nights stay. We were here not for the full moon party or waterfall festival! We were here just to enjoy the serenity of Koh Phangan. The beach is clean & the sea is calm because the beach is on a cove. This resort is situated at the beach front.
The room is big & spacious. Our room is facing the swimming pool on the upper floor of the hotel block. There’s no lift in the building. But resort staffs are always standby to help you to carry the luggage.
Breakfast is so so, sufficient for a decent meal.
The location is good. There’s a 7-11 convenient store and Lotus market near by. There’s even a tattoo studio at the resort. A lot of restaurants nearby. At night, there’s a live band performing at the beach. There’s a beach front restaurant at this resort. But we didn’t dine in because of not so favourable reviews on this restaurant. Besides this, the room is not well maintained. Upon checking in, we found that the tv was not working. The technician came to fix. In the end, he replaced with another tv which was not functioning well either. You couldn’t connect to the internet. So we just forgot about the tv. Next the aircon remote control didn’t function as it should be, difficult to control. Then the water tap at the sink was loose. You couldn’t turn off the water completely. The toilet seat was loose also. Water pressure is low.
Anyway, we were not too much concerned about all these. I reviewed hoping that the resort will take action to improve on it. That’s all.

3 stars only bcs the rooms could easily be better. The rest is very good : location right by the beach, breakfast buffet and great pool.

Just wanted a little detour from Chaweng, so we booked 1 night in June at Tommy's Resort on Had Rin beach
Must say that the accommodation has high coziness factor over it! Tommy's is located in my opinion on the best part of Had Rin beach
An inviting large pool greets you when you step into Tommy's Resort and a restaurant overlooking the beach
The rooms were also cozy, no luxury accommodation, but clearly good with ac, fridge, safebox etc
Little shops&and any restaurant are available and near Tommy's Resort, also 7/11 about 5 min walk away
Just visited Had Rin 10 years ago, so I knew there were much more shops and restaurants, but didn’t really know how to find them!
So in the evening when it was time for dinner, I remembered if we walked on the beach and continued to the right on the beach and a little further away at the beach restaurants, you could walk up to streets with everything you are looking for such as pharmacy, hairdresser, restaurants, etc.
But we chose to sit down at one of the beach restaurants to have dinner, in addition we got to see a fireshow right in front of us
Back to Tommy's Resort!
Can definitely recommend this accommodation, but if you are not the party type, then avoid Had Rin Beach 3 days before and after Fullmoon Party which is held once a month, then there are crazy many people here
So when it's not Fullmoon Party, Had Rin Beach is one of Koh Phangan's finest beaches

Excellent meal at restaurant but not large enough

We just had a meal there and we were not staying at the resort. I had the chicken basil leaves with rice. It was absolutely delicious but the serving was smaller than the average thai servings. Hence its a four star.
