Good Service
Just had a short stay at Moonlight House in Nakhon Ratchansima province of Thailand. Here is the service was premium and the location is great for exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable with softy bed and so on.

On a quiet little soi (alley)
I stayed at Moonlight House last minute during the Songkran holiday and have nothing negative to say about the place. I arrived in the city at night, so I decided to walk from the new bus station to the hotel (~2.45 kilometers/~1 mile). In the daytime with the sun, I probably wouldn't have attempted such a walk, but with the fireball below the horizon and the cool evening air in my nostrils, it was actually quite enjoyable. Upon arriving at Moonlight, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and encountered no hiccups. The room was cute (w/AC and fridge for those who need 'em) and very clean.
For food close by: I would recommend taking a left out of the soi and walking down the street until you reach the four way intersection with a 7-11 diagonally across on your right-hand side. Get to that 7-11 and you will see that the area there has a bunch of little food stalls and shops open late. Some good, standard fare to munch on if you're in need of a quick fix.

Great value!
We had a spotlessly clean room complete with aircon, fridge, hot water and comfy bed. The staff were all very welcoming too. If you need to hire a bike make sure to go to Korat Bike Rental, there's a sign in reception - faultless service here too!

Simple accommodation
Tucked away in a small soi, this small hotel has a good quality to price ratio. It’s cheap, simple accommodation with small room and bathroom and a small car park. Quiet location is a plus. No breakfast served, but few good cafes are within easy few minutes walk.

Loved the Junior Suite
I walked in off the street, and checked out a few rooms. Most of the rooms were ok for the money, but I thought the Junior Suite was sensational value at 790 thb.
It was spacious. Had a beautiful sofa set in the corner with coffee table. It effectively had two balconies, with big sliding doors that let in the afternoon breezes.
The King Sized bed was firm by Western standards, but you get used to that in SE Asia. Probably better for your back anyway. Linen was clean and soft.
The toilet was clean, but not exactly ingenious in it's design. Required a bit of yoga to reach the toilet paper. Water was strong and hot though.
Some of the rooms features were a bit worn, but that just gave them character. It was all perfectly clean. Overall it felt like home.
Location is really good for restaurants, cafes and shopping, but not much nightlife. There were a couple of "Japanese Only" karaoke bars that wouldn't let me in, and a couple of sleazy massage joints, but that's about it after 9pm. If you want nightlife, you'll have to taxi or tuk tuk to Chang Pueak Rd on the other side of the city, where there's plenty. That'll cost you around 100-150 thb each way.
Staff at Moonlight were friendly, easy going, and a couple of them spoke really good English. With the other guys I had to use Google Translate + Hand signals, but they were all very helpful.
Anyway, my stay at Moonlight was a highlight of my stay in Khorat. I highly recommend.
