Peaceful in the heart of the city

I had a lovely stay at this cozy and quiet place right in the centre of town. The location was perfect - tucked away just enough to be peaceful, yet still within walking distance to shops, cafes, and main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with simple things I needed for relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a clam retreat in the heart of the city.

Cozy place, hideaway from hot weather.

This cafe and hotel located in old quarter of the old city. There is area for arts. The coffee is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. From here you can walk around the old city zone. Recommended for solo traveler and group.

Stay in the local house next to the city hall

Quiet local house convert to hostel. I was in May 2019, The place is abit fade out. Need some refurbishment. Many be it was a low season so they do not taking care the property much.
They have bicycle for free use riding around the lovely town.

Nice traditional houses and friendly people

The location is excellent - in the centre of Lamphun and easy get to if taking the blue songthaew from Chiang Mai (ask to get off at the post office). It is a bit more of a distance to the bus station. The rooms are in traditional wooden houses on stilts and despite being in the centre of town are surrounded by greenery and it is very quiet at night. My room was simple and very clean. I like the polished wooden floors. There is a kitchenette with kettle and crockery as well as space for chilling out under the house. Bikes are available for free which is useful as some of the sights of Lamphun like Ku Chang Ku Ma or Wat Phra Yeun which are a bit farther out (although most of the others are within 10-15 minutes' walking distance). There is also a cafe at the front which is done up in a rather retro style. The lady who runs the place, Mai and her brother are very friendly and informative. She was also very quick to respond on my booking through Air BnB and even messaged me the day beforehand to find out what time I was coming. Her brother provided me with a large local breakfast of an egg custard, mince pork, vegetables and rice.

Super nice hostel with super nice staff and good location

The best hostel in Thailand. I felt really comfortable there. The beds were good, the hostel pretty picturesque.The shower clean and nice. The only thing is that the toilet is downstairs. The man of the staff (don't remember his name, it starts with B ) was super helpful and kind with us, he picked up us to the bus station. Thank you so much Pickbaan hostel!!! ❤
