This was the first time I started in this called hotel in 10 years... I remembered why I had left it so long.
The process have gone up and service has gone down.
I stayed here for 1 night after a 10 year break and don't think they have spent a penny in the place.
It really looks tired and just not popular anymore.
I had a single room and looked like prison cell. The bathroom was so small that if you opened the door, you hit the toilet pan!
Will not be wasting my money staying with them again as there's so many options in the area with much larger rooms.

Disappointing Stay
Lovely and warm reception staff.
Had stayed at the hotel in 2015 and 2019 because of the great location and the offer of secure paid storage of bag when travelling around SEA for several weeks and returning to the hotel in 2015.
Negatives;
The initial room allocated smelled extremely bad like the toilet had been blocked. It permeated the bedroom and was awful in the bathroom. The room was extremely shabby unlike previous visits. I asked to change rooms which was done immediately with apologies for the smell. The second bedroom was much better with no smell. Decor was dated and needs a fresh coat of paint.
After 10pm there was a drunken man shouting and knocking on the door. As there isn’t great soundproofing, it sounded like the man was knocking on my door loudly.
The next day when I went shopping to return to my room before checkout, someone had very kindly put a used condom on my door knob- I kid you not. I didn’t notice it until I went to open the door and touched it. I explained this to the receptionist who laughed - think he may have quite understood so I had to explain what a used condom was and how appalling it was. I don’t intend to stay there again given the awful experience and suggested that the manager should be informed.
