An oasis of peace and beauty of nature, incredible sea
Beautiful bay the best of Koh Samet, away from the hustle and bustle, an oasis of peace, staff very attentive to customer needs, impeccable cleanliness, carefully prepared food and exceptional cocktails. Guests also have access to sun loungers on the beach and free canoes. Beautiful experience; I recommend booking the rooms closest to the sea so as to avoid a few steps.

For relaxation and privacy.
Small very cozy hotel in Ao Prao Bay. Located on a snow-white beach. There's a swimming pool on the property, a nice restaurant. The beach has its own comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. Kayaks and boards are provided free of charge. The rooms are freshly designed. The restaurant has excellent cuisine and serving, prices are higher than mainland, but absolutely justified. The hotel is suitable for quiet relaxation. I'd love to be back.

Just amazing
Very nice room. Nice clean. New beach towels are included every day. Good breakfast. Very good food both western and Thai. Accommodating with special diet. Free sun beds, parasols, kayak and SUP. Very friendly staff with friendly staff. Can warmly recommend this hotel on the finest whitest beach on Koh Samet with crystal clear water

An A for Effort: Kerala Coco Resort
We spent a long weekend at Koh Samet, an island in the eastern Gulf of Thailand. Rather than drive from Bangkok we hired a car to drop us off at Ban Phe Pier to meet the scheduled ferry to Samet island (Koh is island in Thai). As guests at Kerala the ferry was free. It was a beautiful day, sunny and cool, and now that the cool dry season is here, seas were calm. The boat was clean and had life jackets for all passengers. On arrival on the island we had to pay an entry fee for the national park. Koh Samet is within the marine park Khao Laem Ya-Ko Samet National Park. The fee is 45 baht for Thai nationals and 200 for foreigners.
Kerala Coco resort shares Ao Prao (Coconut Bay) with two other hotels. Kerala was more casual and informal; it had a beach-and-sun vibe with blue and white villas climbing the hillside above the bay. The hotel provides kayaks and surfboards to paddle in the bay. We just wanted to swim, sit in the sun, and eat Thai food. The menu was standard fare with familiar western dishes and Thai. You could order a hamburger or roast chicken (gai yang) and som tam (papaya salad). We ate local because we like Thai food. We quickly found our favorites: shrimp fritters (tod mun goong) generous cakes of chopped shrimp breaded and fried; grilled Thai steak or seua long hai “crying tiger”; the aforementioned som tam; tom khaa gai (coconut soup with chicken); and battered and fried bananas with ice cream.
The staff tried very hard to please us and to accommodate any requests to customize dishes on the menu. Wait times for food during peak dining hours could be 30 minutes and up to one hour for the fried bananas with ice cream, which was on the menu. My son joked that they had to wait for the banana to ripen. We would definitely go back and stay Kerala. They get an A for effort.

10 days of rest and relaxation
Our very peaceful place to go and check out from the busy world, I have seen many large scale corporations try to implement high performance teams and this family run resort masters the concept of HPT perfectly, all the staff from cleaners, maintenance, beach staff, cooks, reception and waiters/waitresses cannot do enough for you, each know their role and perform it admirably and make you feel part of something very special during your time there with nothing too much trouble and impeccable service and support.
We shall be back for sure, well done and thank you for making our trip so memorable.
