Stephna Residence sijaitsee vuoristossa ja lähellä rantaa. La Plaine St. André ja Domaine de Val des Près’n museo ovat mielenkiintoisia paikallisia maamerkkejä, ja muihin alueen nähtävyyksiin kuuluu Seychelles National Botanical Gardens ja Ste. Anne Marine National Park. Tutustu lähiseutuun ja kokeile erilaisia aktiviteetteja; täällä voit muun muassa kalastaa. Täällä yöpyessäsi voit nauttia kaikista kodin mukavuuksista, joihin kuuluu täysikokoinen jääkaappipakastin ja liesi, sekä ilmainen Wi-Fi ja taulutelevisio. Superbe in so many ways! It felt home!
We’ve just returned from 16 days vacation where we stayed in Stephna residence for the entire duration. It’s really well positioned on the island of Mahe, enabling easy access to both east and west coast. We’ve rented the largest unit, comprising of 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and many additional areas for a relaxing family life.
Our hosts Henry and Lakmal were simply amazing, attending to all our requests and making us feel welcomed, just like back home. The standard of this accomodation is really high, with kitchen equiped with all that you need. You can also order home-made dinner (fish, salads, curries, rice) which we did many times as Lakmal and Henry beat many of Mahe’s restaurants we visited. It was a pure delight and one more example how dedicated they are to maintaining superbe service standards. They’d go an extra mile for us on a daily basis.
The pool is regularly cleaned, same goes for the entire estate. Hygiene standards are strictly followed (daily temperature check), we felt more safe on Seychelles in general than in any European country, including Denmark, our home. The house was cleaned on daily basis.
The host offers car rental service which is super convenient and easy to use. We did that and I haven’t regretted as visiting Mahe without car is pointless. We probably took 500+ km around the island, creating so many beautuful memories. Our host Henry would always be there to assist with additional sightseeing suggestions.
The biggest benefit we felt is that it all felt so comfortable, just like we’ve always been coming to this place. It did feel home! I could not recommend it more to people who are looking to discover Mahe and stay close to locals who are very kind and approachable. The residence has different accomodation units that can easily suit different traveller needs. We even managed to do our yoga classes on the terasse overlooking Anse a la mouche beach. Priceless experience!
Last but not the least, our hosts where so accomodating even before we came, answering all our emails and making sure we feel safe and are well-informed (this was our first trip to Seychelles).
If there was a scale to rate our entire stay from 1 to 10, Stephna would be at 15. I feel so grateful for finding it easily. Our boys can’t wait to return. Not to mention the parents!

Perfect place to explore Mah
Stephna is the perfect place to explore the most beautiful parts of Mahe. It's close to the best beaches and some nice restaurants. The residence is small but comfortable and the pool is perfect to hang out after a day of sideseeing the island. The staff is always friendly and helpfull.

Affordable accommodation on a good location - View was amazing!
We would like to warmly recommend the amazing villa with private pool, exceptional and wholehearted service of Dinuk and Lakmal who welcomed us every morning with a smile and a surprising special dish (despite no breakfast available) just as a sign of great hospitality.
By the pool they pampered us with coconuts and refreshments (again, without us asking for any).
In the evenings they prepared for us amazing grilled fish dinners at chef level by the pool (for 15 Eu pp, considerably less than any restaurant and way tastier!). Recommended place, very clean and cozy and definitely worth the price, terrace with amazing views of the Indian Ocean and a beautifully maintained pool, high and comfortable bed and kitchenette, we had a wonderful vacation in this piece of Seychelles paradise, (and much because of the amazing service) Great location as well by the way (rent a car recommended)

spacious, well appointed two bedroom villa with nice shared pool and deck area
villa was well appointed and nice layout. a/c works well and beds were comfortable and nicely decorated. pool is a very short walk away, visible from the private terrace or possible to sit on one of the shared terraces adjacent to it. Remi and guys were good hosts, arranged some essential shopping for our Christmas day arrival and the fish bbq they organised for our last night is to be recommended - don't miss it! Driveway and road is steep and closed in terrace is a little claustrophobic but these are really the only negatives. TV was large with HDMI connection for streaming from other devices.
