Fründt's Hotel Wismar

We had planned a tour along the Baltic Sea, and arrived from Kiel.
We came across this hotel during the spontaneous search on site.
With a bit of luck we got another comfort room for 3 nights.
Staff are extremely friendly and the rooms very appealing.
The breakfast buffet is very extensive, balanced and clear.
We can recommend this place without restriction, as very centrally located in Wismar and equipped with its own parking.
All sights are within walking distance (port, St. Nicholas Church, Pig Bridge, museum, etc.
We will gladly come back should it fit into our travel plans.

Beautiful ambience, but mold and silverfish

The star is for the comfortable bed and the great ambience. The room was right at a road junction, which would have been fine. However, we had to keep the window permanently open as the silicone on the window sill was covered in mold. Clouds of dust fell from the wall as we touched them only slightly. In the double room there was only a chair and no fridge, in the bathroom silverfish - very unappetizing. In rain, the only covered outdoor guest area was used by the smoking staff, which degraded the beautiful entrance area a bit and kept us from staying there as non-smokers.

Great hotel in the middle of Wismar

Very nice old town hotel, close to the market square and port of Wismar. Very good breakfast, parking in hotel parking behind the house, room good size, bathroom also large, quiet, very nice gentleman at reception. Would love to come back.

Highly recommended

Very nice hotel,almost loving staff who are very accommodating.Could even have breakfast outside.Great rooms,comfortable bed very good mattresses.
Around the corner to the pedestrian zone.
Anytime again.
Elevator available.

goes friendlier

The hotel has a beautiful outdoor area with a terrace and a large, comfortable lounge.
However, the staff at the reception are not friendly or rude.
For me, that's a reason never to book there again.
