Great food and a wonderful ambience
We have known the #Restaurant for some time and know: #Quality counts here.
Even if we don’t eat often, we attach great importance to a special experience – and that’s exactly what the mill offers.
The courtyard is a real #highlight, lovingly designed and perfect for relaxing al fresco dining. The #Ambience is simply magical.
Service and cuisine? Immaculate. No wishes remain unfulfilled here.

Great service in romantic setting, reservation needed
The place was humming a Saturday evening in October and the four of us were happy to have a reservation. Had a great table that would have been large enough for up to 8 in a kind of corner setting next to the fire place.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and shown promptly to our table. The extensive menues came with the aperitives, so we had simultaneous joy and work. Special wishes to amend each dish are very readily taken without surcharge. How the Bauers manage the quality of service and food at such a variety of dishes and heterogenous bunches of guests remains their secret and working in service myself I find it absolutely admirable!
We again relished the generous and delicious courses, accompanied by carefully recommended and chosen drinks and wines served with grace and the special personal touch of the family and their team. We love being there and will certainly use the next best excuse to stop by again.
Keep it up dear team, you are doing a great job!

great hotel for a great occasion
Attention at all stages was flawless and careful. Each guest was happy with room, bed and freshly renovated bathrooms. They were promptly checked in and out, and breakfast buffet "the morning after" was punctual and offered a nice variety of choices (although eggs are only available boiled).
The hotel is small with a family touch and although immediately next to a Bundesstrasse not too noisy. The owning Bauer family takes really good care of their guests, he in the kitchen, she in service.

I strongly recommend both the hotel AND the restaurant if you look for perfect service and delicious food in a nice athmosphere.

A fantastic stay!
The food is unbelievable. I went for a 6 day business trip, and we didn't eat anywhere else the whole trip - it really is amazing. I would even recommend it to my mum, who is a vegetarian. All the meat was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was packed every night, with guests and locals, who all know it is the best place around.
The only downside is that it is next to the road. For a business trip like mine, it was perfect, but it might not be as good for people with small children
5 out of 5 from me though!
