No frills. Cheap and easy check in despite there being nobody there when I arrived. Its a passing place that served its purpose . Nice breakfast . Helpful staff in the morning. Extremely quiet!

SOOO, not again.
We were there as a cabbage ride.
The service was great. Nice young motivated people. Aperol Super. Water was replenished again and again. A waiter was so nice that you also got his drink on the dance floor.
The toilets were also in good condition throughout.
The music from the DJ okay but didn't really pick me up. I missed several cabbage classics.
Unfortunately the seating was very tight and the tables too close to each other so it was a bit annoying to watch without getting into battle with the next man or backman.
What I didn't like at all was the Buffett situation. Not everything was offered at the buffet as advertised. The table neighbor pointed out that there are no fried potatoes. These were brought to her in an extra bowl. Great reaction but we also missed these painfully. Cabbage was delicious and meat went well. But the mega mood did not trigger the food.
In addition, those with evasive dish had partly raw schnitzel. This must not happen. Doing that was very wimpy.
Well all in all it was okay but the hall could be bigger and serving food at the table I would have found nicer.
(In Google reviews, the operator reported bad reviews and had them removed )

Location absolutely not recommended
We were in June 2025 at the Etzhorner Kurz for our children's graduation celebration.
The value for money did not fit in any way. Overall, one got the impression of a planless and bad organization. There was not enough change already at the cash register, so they demanded to pay more to be able to give out “suitably”. An outrage! The 85 euros per person/evening were comparatively high. The organizer was only ready for a solution after a long and unsightly discussion. Some time passed before all the waiting guests found their way in, until the buffet was opened, it was already late ...
The planning and implementation was unprofessional or simply “no matter” in many places: the buffet was so unfavourably constructed that the two lines crossed at the output and blocked each other. A Buffett dispensary was set up right in front of (!) the beverage counter, leaving little space to order. Who's planning this?
The DJ provided by the operator simply pulled off his set in the evening, music wishes of the revelers were not taken into account. During the long waiting time in the hall, the music was very loud at first, so that conversation was hardly possible. At least he complied with the request to reduce the volume. Nevertheless – why do you have to explain your job to the DJ – he has never been to a party as a guest himself?
The food was loveless, bland and – this is really an unding for the price! – not enough for all registered guests. This is not possible and is either completely unprofessional or just calculation. At some point, it was just dry rice and pieces of meat. In addition, the Buffett was not listed or labeled anywhere. The operator responded unfriendly and pampered, especially when asked for the buffet.
The young people at the service were friendly and at pains, but often seemed a little awkward and clueless.
The drinks menu was quite extensive, but why isn’t it possible to put plain non-alcoholic Pils on the menu? At 85 euros, that really wouldn't be too much to ask. There was alcohol-free hefeweizen, but those who don't like it or can't tolerate it had to settle for water or soda.
Somehow, at the end of the evening, the unpleasant aftertaste of just being pulled off remained.
The Etzhorner Krug is really not recommended. If you are planning a celebration, you should better switch to another location.

Not again...
We were there for a graduation party. The hall was large, bright and functional, but before dinner it was so sounded by a DJ that you couldn't talk, which was then sorted out. The soup came to the table and was unfortunately a bit thin and also limited. The buffet meal was cheeky to say the least: For vegetarians, there was a cooked vegetable curry that doesn't taste like curry, and rice. You had to stand in line to enjoy the full range of food on offer. Our companions were not fed up. Dessert was gone faster than you could see. After all, the guys at the service were super good on their feet, praise for that! The choice of drinks was good, presumably they covered a large part of the 85 Euro ticket price (incl. All you can drink), because it could not have been due to the food...

Bad! Don't book there!!!
The Etzhorner Jug was booked for our child's prom. The card per person cost 85€, but should be allowed to celebrate from 8-2 pm. There should be food and drink.
The food was unfortunately underground !! bad. There was a thin sour pumpkin soup and then "buffet". When we finally arrived at the 4 Rechauds (there were probably 200 people there, all registered and there were 2 tables with 4 Rechauds each), they were largely empty. Also empty were the 2 (!) Salad bowls, just a little too salty rice and too hot and kind of bitter a sauce were still there, which tasted disgusting. It wasn't refilled. On friendly request one was quite harshly rejected with the sentence "there is nothing more". The dessert, on the other hand, was delicious, unfortunately you were not allowed to order espresso. The table staff were very nice but of course had no responsibility. The DJ was ok, but should have been more attentive to wishes, music is often a tiresome topic. The cashier ladies at the beginning seemed very busy, but were not very friendly, you had a bit of the feeling that they saw in us a horde of cattle that you handle.
You really do that differently at an event like this where parents, teachers, relatives are invited by the young people. We did not feel very welcome from the Etzhorner Krug.
Conclusion: Either someone totally miscalculated or - which is more likely for me - it was a pure rip-off, because these costs were not consumed through drinks either. There are very different events at the price where you get much better offers! I found it outrageous and would not recommend anyone to book this venue for a party!! Don't book!! Don't celebrate there!!
