Pure good energy, flawless style, and genuine hospitality in Hamburg.
Yet another great Ruby experience, but this time checking out the Lotti in Hamburg for the first time. Honestly, they never miss... just amazing. Staying here feels less like being in a hotel and more like coming back home after a long trip. When you travel a lot, you really start to appreciate those rare places that manage to be super stylish but incredibly warm at the same time. The design is beautiful and the views over the water are stunning, but what truly sets this place apart is the HUMAN TOUCH. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is just pure good energy. The bar has this vibrant, cozy vibe every single day and night, and their cocktail menu is hands down one of the best in my experience.
The way the entire team treats you makes all the difference—they genuinely make you feel like family, not just another room number. Chapeau to Jörg, Latif and Florine because the rooms are always spotless and everything works flawlessly... We can tell that the leaders (Stefan, Zora and Melanie) run a tight ship and keep the service standards incredibly high, which shows how well the leader (I think is Ray) is guiding this crew.
Every interaction here feels personal and spontaneous. Whether you are checking in or grabbing a drink, people like Aly, Farzad, Ashlie, Adris, Ina, Anilya and Christina are always ready with a massive smile and the best recommendations. Throughout our stay, Mauro, Lia, Manuel, Ludmila, Luna and Louis went completely out of their way to help us with the smallest details (thank you so much!), showing a level of care that is hard to find these days.
Even during the busy hours, Reiner, Zakia, Nicolas, Priya, Swastika, Nina, Roberto, Paulina and Parwin took the time to have great chats with us while crafting perfect drinks at the bar. It is that genuine hospitality and warmth that turns a good stay into an unforgettable experience.
This is by far the most welcoming hotel I've ever been in Hamburg and honestly, it’s my absolute favorite place to unplug and feel at home.

I would stay again
Positive: Location is perfect, the room is clean and it is cleaned every day. there u can find shampoo, (hair conditioner is better not to use) slippers, towels and a very nice bluetooth speaker to listen to music and relax.
Negative: Check in process is a bit stressful, u need to go the the reception bar and fill in all the information on a small monitor (takes time)
when you enter the room feels like it s a hospital room, but the second day u will feel that it is pretty comfortable, as u get used to specific design.
There is no chance to eat if u re suddenly hungry, i had to order McDonalds and it was delivered in 10 min though you can drink tasty cappuccino in the bar.
Remember: It s not luxury hotel.

It normally takes around a minute on the tablets, and our Hosts are on hand day and night if anything isn’t clear. Your note is still helpful, and we keep refining the flow to make arrival feel even easier.
Our look is intentionally pared back. Lean Luxury for us means a minimalist aesthetic with clever use of space, including an open bathroom setup. We share plenty of images on booking sites, so the style is clear before arrival, though we know it can take a moment to click. We’re glad the comfort won you over by day two.
For late-night cravings, we’re sorry it felt limited. While we pour drinks and coffee around the clock, we don’t run a full kitchen. Many guests use delivery options, as you did, and our Hosts are happy to point you to nearby bites at different hours.

Comfortable
Clear. It has friendly staff, a diverse concept, 24-hour treats, free Centralized seating, very good breakfast and lots of variety

Great location in Hamburg
The location of this hotel is fabulous. We had 2 of the their basic rooms for 2 nights. We decided to not get our room cleaned during our stay and scored 4 free drinks (3 cocktails and a glass of wine) from the hotel. The hotel only gets 4 stars because it’s literally not possible to open 2 luggages due to the compact size of the basic rooms. Other than that, breakfast is nice, the Galley on each floor with ironing board and tea/coffee/vending machines is a nice touch, and the whole vibe of the hotel is just very cozy. The service and staff were all very accommodating and friendly.

Nice hotel, unusual disappointments
Lovely hotel in a great location with friendly, welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our stay overall.
There were just a couple of things that felt a bit disappointing:
1. My boyfriend contacted the hotel before our arrival as it was my birthday and asked if they could arrange a little surprise in the room (such as wine, flower petals, chocolates, or something similar). He was told that the rooms were too specific to add anything. That made me think the room itself would be something quite spectacular, but it turned out to be fairly standard.
2. At check-in, we were given the choice between having our bedsheets changed during our stay or receiving a drinks token instead. We stayed for four nights, and by the final night the sheets still hadn't been changed. I asked if we could swap to the drinks token instead, but because housekeeping had already made the bed that day (without changing the sheets), I was told it wasn't possible. I completely understand the idea of only changing sheets after a few days for environmental reasons—that's absolutely fine. However, as it turned out, the sheets weren't changed at all during our stay. I wouldn't have minded if that had been made clear from the start, but it was a little frustrating to be offered a choice and then end up receiving neither.
Despite these points, we had a pleasant stay, and the location and staff were definitely highlights.
