Schönes Hotel in Crailsheim
Ein nettes, kleines Hotel, nahe zum Zentrum. Man sieht vom Parkplatz aus die laufenden Renovierungen am und im Haus, und auch gleich die schöne Sonnenterrasse. Zum Empfang hatte die sehr freundliche Dame nicht nur einen Cappuccino für uns, sondern auch gute Informationen zu Haus, Umgebung und Essenvorschläge für den Abend parat. Sie präsentierte uns danach ein nettes Zimmer im Erdgeschoß, hell, nett eingerichtet, bequemes Bett, ziemlich neu renoviertes Bad. Wir haben die kleine Sitzgelegenheit sehr gut genutzt. Im Hotel ist es sehr ruhig, allerdings hört man die Bahn und die voerbeiführende Hauptstraße, aber im guten Rahmen. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und konnten ein wirklich gutes Frühstück in dem neu renovierten Frühstücksraum einnehmen. Wieder war die Chefin des Hauses sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und so blieb keiner unserer Wünsche offen. Mehr an Service und Freundlichkeit geht nicht und haben wir so auch selten erlebt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder.

3 times and never again
That was the 3rd. Overnight stay at the hotel (Garni - there is NO breakfast, so it can't be called Garni!) Railway and the last. On the first night I had a spacious double room in the 1st floor. Floor to the rear and not much comfort expected, is more of a motel than a hotel GARNI:
+ Bed comfortable, clean linen, large bathroom.
- Shutters on the window to the rear did not open
On the second night I had an EZ in the 1st night. Stock , which is really tiny.
Last I had a double room on the ground floor, for which I was informed by email 90,- / night as a cost. Hmm, why? On the website a double room costs 79,-, on booking.com I booked it for 65,-. On arrival I was charged 224,- Euro for 3 nights (15,- per day for the dog; these additional costs are nowhere to be found, I had previously requested extra). I had to leave a day early, but there is no refund or credit. This time I was finally convinced that I would never spend the night on the railway again:
+ Bed comfortable, clean linen
- Smoke detector in the lobby beeped permanently (battery must be changed, so smoke detector does NOT work!))
- in room 11 the remote control of the TV does not work/defective
- Table disgusting
- a lampshade is missing on the ceiling lamp
- no bedside lamps
- the curtain is not attached
- the window is difficult to open
- the ceiling lamp above the bed does not work
- the shower goes badly
- the shower head is defective
- although there were kettles and cups, but no spoon
- the reception is never staffed.
90,- Euro? Next time I'll find something nicer for this price with breakfast.
I paid by debit card. Mr. S. wanted to "accommodate" me at check-in and waive me 4,- Euro if I can give him 20,- in cash. Um... yeah.
