Nice location; but firm beds and very close to the railway
What we liked:
- Very good breakfast
- Good wifi
- Good location
- Only 5 euro for private parking
- Clean room
- Spacious room with nice balcony (room 6)
- Refrigerator, coffeemaker, extra couch and desk (room 6)
Things you should keep in mind:
- Very close to railway!! When windows are open (because of the heat) this will wake you up every half hour during the night!
- Very firm beds
- No Airconditioning, very warm in room (ventilator was available in room)
- Curtains not covering whole windows
- Other guests can be heard, also some floor noises in our own room when walking
- Breakfast (which is perfect btw) is only from 9 to 10
145 euro per night seemed a bit high and the beds and passing trains didn’t provide us the best sleep. Although the accommodation is updated and the breakfast is great; we would prefer to stay at another place next time.

The breakfast was superb and the hosts are doing everything they can to make you feel at home.

Warm welcome, perfect accomodation, recommended!
We were greeted by the couple who runs this hotel, they were friendly, warm people. We felt welcome. After checking in, we got some useful tips and information about Cochem (the hotel is conveniently located near the town centre). For 5 euro's you can buy a parking ticket at the reception for 1 day parking. It is 50 meters away from the hotel (the hotel rents the parking lots from another shopkeeper).
After our wonderful day in Cochem, we went back to the hotel to enjoy our great comfy, big superior room. The whole interior of the hotel is brand new and decorated in good taste. We liked the king sized bed and perfect shower.
Next morning we had breakfast in the lobby downstairs with several other guests. Everything is there, fresh juices, bread, toast, sausages, eggs, yoghurt.
All in all worth every penny and recommended to all!

Great stay
Although most of the stuff does't speak English we managed to communicate and the service was superb.
