Great hostel with friendly staff

Great hostel in a fairly central location, good prices (although the breakfast selection was fairly disappointing for €7!). Clean rooms with both a toilet and shower room in the room which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy to speak in either German or English. There were also options to check-in earlier or later if needed.
Lockers in the room were a good size but my main criticism is that the rooms didn't have enough plug sockets, nor sockets in good locations near the bed (but only a minor thing).
Also a good shared kitchen that was fairly well equipped - including free tea/coffee in the morning!

Unfortunately not a good experience

The staff was very friendly, and the location is good too. The price was also favorable, which initially had a positive effect. The common room was also fine, but it was hardly used.
Unfortunately, the negative aspects clearly outweigh the negative aspects. The shared room didn’t match the photos at all – I’m pretty sure it wasn’t pictured there. In addition, the room was not really clean and smelled uncomfortable, which made falling asleep very difficult.
Also the sanitary facilities (shower and toilet on the first floor) were in poor condition. They looked dirty and more like toilets on a motorway service station. Especially unpleasant: The toilets were visibly dirty.
In addition, there was no socket at the sleeping place, which was also impractical.
I therefore stopped my stay after just one night. Despite the positive points about the staff, the location and the common room, I would not book this hostel again. The discrepancy between the photos and reality is particularly negative.

Cheap

The hostel is easy to get to. There are some unsavoury characters hanging around the neighbourhood but not directly outside the hostel. Facilities were ok, but the dorms really need privacy curtains. There were also dishes regularly left in the kitchen sink. Staff were great. However, some sorta social events should be organised as there was no atmosphere.

Friendly and calm

The location of the hostel is very good, easy to walk in all directions.
There is a private toilet and shower per room.
The kitchen is open, meaning everyone can use it.
It's a very good price.
I found the place clean
There is internet and a socket near the bed.

Clean hostel in Bremen

Very well located in central Bremen. Very clean. Good kitchen and sitting room. Fast internet. Near to tram station. Good staff.
Reasonable beds and rooms.
Beds are comfortable. So many toilets and bathrooms in each wing.
