It was a really nice place to stay. Very friendly receptionist. breakfast was very tasty. I will definitely visit again

Never again

Room large but dated. Bathroom looks neat only there better with slippers shower. Breakfast reasonable if there are only a few guests. With us came a bus with Polish tourists and then it's a mess. No place (at 8.30 am) no clean cups or cups, no clean glasses, no sandwiches or fillings, tables are poorly cleared etc. Also the restaurant is full in the evening.
Slept along a cobblestone road, not recommended.
Went away a day early which was neatly resolved.
Don't go back.

Very nice hotel with great staff!

The hotel is centrally located in Bischofswerda city centre. The house itself is a bit winding but you quickly find your way around it. We only found the town hall clock a bit annoying on the first night, from the second we no longer perceived it that way. For the bell ringing, however, the hotel can't do anything, here perhaps the city administration would be asked to turn it off overnight. Our room was also facing away from it. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the entire staff and the really excellent cuisine! Our room was very large with a small bathroom, which however met our requirements. The room, as well as the entire hotel, made a clean and very tidy impression.Even if everything has come a bit old, here you really feel comfortable!

Practical, courteous, beautiful

As a group we had booked 5 double rooms to hold a joint meeting. The hotel and its staff fully met our expectations. We were superbly accompanied from reception to checkout. The breakfast was good enough, the evening menu was tested varied and could fulfill our wishes. The rooms themselves have a good-bourgeois style and you can feel comfortable. The price/performance ratio is pleasant. We felt it was fitting and not as exaggerated as can be found in other places. Should the opportunity arise, we will gladly come back! Thank you!!!

I booked the hotel but booked it for the wrong day, a day early. The hotel called me and asked when I would arrive and because I messed up my booking was told that they would just change it from "tonight to tomorrow night," which I though was very nice of them.
The room was inexpensive, so quite basic but good enough for a night.
