Spend the night in a small wine village
Close to the motorway yet in an idyllic quiet little wine village.
The old wine farm has a rustic charm that is enhanced by the cordial and caring host and hostess.
Sitting in the garden in the afternoon and morning breakfast in the shade of the peat tree.
The rooms are basic but have everything necessary. We slept very well there.

Excellent location for a stopover or longer stay
Very nice reception in a nice interior space with several seats. Excellent room and great shower. Breakfast is also excellent.

Beautiful room, friendly people
The owner is certainly very friendly and helpful.
The room and bathroom are beautiful, very attractive and spacious. Outside there is a terrace where you can sit.
The breakfast was good.
Negative points · The shower has a shower head at a fixed height. Taller people cannot stand under this. I estimate up to 1.85 meters.
There is nothing to do in the immediate area. You have to go by car.
Actually, we had more of the impression of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It does not have the facilities of a hotel.

A quick stop on the way home.
It turns out that we were the only guests for the night which suited us, again because of the virus.
We were given one of the rooms off the courtyard which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was so much nicer than a normal hotel room and we had a lovely night’s sleep.
In the morning, breakfast in the dining room was first class. Continental breakfast so often can be unappetising and boring, but when done well, it can be a real treat. This was delicious. Gigs from the courtyard, local cheeses and hams, fresh yogurt and bread. Lots of it.
Our only regret was that we were not there in the summer when the courtyard dining would be available. It looked the most relaxing and beautiful of settings to chill with good food and good wine.
Well worth a visit, I hope we can return on our next trip, possibly for a longer stay.
