Hotel Rupertihof
I've been to this hotel for work before. I had booked the guest house but got a room in the main house, so these reviews are for the main house.
A cozy single room on the 2nd floor which has a nice balcony and you can see the mountains in clear view.
Disadvantage, the room next to me could also be in the corner on the balcony which is fundamentally not bad, but if the other guest smokes you unfortunately have to close the windows which is very uncomfortable in warm weather. Furthermore, the curtain must always remain closed as you can always look into her room, but okay for short overnight stays.
The highlight remains the breakfast which leaves nothing to be desired, omelettes fried by the chef or other delicacies brought to the table.
Also I can recommend the indoor pool where they lie with the elevator -1. Here you can relax well after a day at work. Infrared chamber, sauna or pool all very clean and relaxed. Wellness bag is available with the card you receive at check in.

Nice 3*️⃣S-hotel with a great wellness offer, good gastronomy, and nice service. Reasonably priced.

Nice place, miserable treatment
This could be a pleasant and peaceful place to relax and as a starting point for many attractive destinations in the surrounding area. But when the stay is embarrassed by unfriendly staff, lack of flexibility and even less generosity, it may indicate that here a different management would be needed to create a good mood.
Let me highlight my bad experiences. We were invited to a larger family party with over 60 participants - many were to stay at Rupertihof. The feast itself took place at Klosterwirt Höglwörth, which also belongs to the same family. The party was very successful, in a place with wonderful location by a small lake, about a quarter drive from Rupertihof. As part of the event we were to be driven and picked up by the house’s own minibus. It worked - except that the driver was driving with one hand while he was doing a video call on his mobile in his other hand!
We were so unfortunate that my family of 4 who were to come after was hit by a air strike, so we had to cancel two double rooms. Only then became we aware of the cancellation system of 80% payment if you cancel later than 30 days before scheduled arrival. It was correct in the written confirmation that we had received, but we hoped for some accommodation when we were part of such a large event, which they must have earned well on. But we got bill - first wrong, with 82 Euro in our disfavour - and then on € 672 for two unused rooms, including breakfast. They saw no reason to give up anything.
Then there was the staff, who were better at formal rituals than meeting the needs of the guests. A small example: Since not all six people had decided what they wanted to drink, the waiter also wiped out all the orders he had received, until he came back after a while to get all the orders together.
There were a few more small moments also where I got the feeling that it’s better not to ask for more attention than you’d been given.
So - I probably won't stay there again, nor would I recommend the place.

Disappointing - I won't be back
Mainly the unfriendly staff and poor service is the reason why I can't recommend this accommodation.
But also rather disappointing overall.
The breakfast buffet was not adequate to the 3 stars, choice was few and sausage and cheese were already dried out at the edges, canned fruit
Our apartment was equipped with sauna and Jacuzzi. However, unfortunately dirty and clairvoyant

Everything is fine as always
Our time at Rupertihof in Ainring was just fantastic! The wellness area is beautifully designed and invites you to relax. We would particularly like to highlight the ox cheeks – they were outstandingly good and an absolute taste experience.
The Service was friendly throughout. Every time we came to the restaurant in the morning we were greeted with a warm smile, which made the start of the day very pleasant.
Our rooms were newly renovated and extremely clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was impressive to see how much has changed since our last visit in 2018. We have now returned in October 2025 and were amazed at the excellent improvements.
Mr. Berger, the head of the house, has everything under control and ensures that guests feel completely comfortable. We can only warmly recommend the Rupertihof and are already looking forward to our next visit!!
