a) Second time I stayed here. Good hotel, located at the outskirts of the city centre. Clean, safe.
b) Because of many bad experiences worldwide I requested their service (see their website) to fetch us at Oradea-airport. They proposed to fetch us for RON 200 (approx € 40.00) for a distance of less than 7 kilometers, which I did not accept. Fortunately Uber is active in Oradea and they charged less than RON 40 (approx € 8.00). Pls draw your own conclusions …

An excellent experience in every way. I come here often, and it's always just as good. Very clean, modern, excellent breakfast, restaurant with very good food in the evening, quality service.

Double Tree by Hilton Oradea- avoid it!

We were accommodated for two nights. Upon arrival, we immediately reported that the shower drain was not functioning. At the reception desk we were informed that there was no technical staff available and that someone from security might be sent. No action was taken that evening, despite the fact that the hotel’s occupancy clearly allowed for us to be relocated to another room.
The problem remained unresolved the following day as well. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we complained again, this time very forcefully, about the unacceptable inconvenience. Only then did someone finally come and attempt a repair. We were also informed that the drainage issue is a known problem in room 215.
The way our complaint was handled is completely unacceptable and reflects a severe lack of professionalism for a hotel claiming this level of standards. It is truly disappointing, especially given that the city itself is wonderful. Overall, the experience was disastrous — we strongly do not recommend this hotel.
