Really pleasant stop-over on the way to France (and back)

A gem in the middle of the city - beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated city villa.
Enclosed plot with garden and parking. Quiet and just a few steps from the city center.
Good breakfast.

WONDERFUL PLACE

Very nice address located in the heart of town, in the old Valenciennes. The building is beautiful. The decoration is neat and refined. The room is spacious and very well equipped.
The icing on the cake is kindness, service and listening to the mistress of the house.
Breakfast is varied. There is sweet, savoury and the products (bread pastries and fresh juices) are of good quality.
We will definitely be back.

Perfect stay

This Hotel is really wonderful. It is situated in the city centre with a beatiful garden and parking as well. Our room was really nice with a lot of space and everything you need for the stay. The staff did everything perfect and served us an outstanding breakfast.

Unfair

We payed twice , once in the hotel and via booking.com .
The hotel manager promissed to pay us back. But nothing reveived until now.
This was the answer
":Hello
Indeed, there was double payment. Today 24 may nothing received yet.
Your overnight stays were paid via booking, all that remained was breakfasts and tourist taxes to be paid on site
Either 4x16€ + 4x2,50€ = 74 €
The payment on site was €339, there is a delta of €265 in your favour.
Can you provide me with a bank account so that we can make you a transfer?

A charming private hotel

An excellent stay spent in the Maison de Mathilde; very spacious rooms, very well equipped, all different, decorated with great taste which make it a charming place. The welcome is warm and attentive.
The perfect place to relax and feel at home.
