lack of hospitality
Having experience with bed and breakfasts all over France, this is one of the worst experiences. The couple working there lacks the time to take care of us.
We arrived at 4:30 PM for 5:00 PM, the owner asked us to come back later (in an unfriendly manner).
The television never worked properly, no hot water in the bathroom, and when we returned in the evening, my husband had to immediately move the car that was parked in the spot reserved for the family's son.
In the room, there is a binder of rules: entire pages of prohibitions, the most absurd of which is that access to the room is forbidden in the afternoon!
When we left, the owner hurried to close the door behind us.
In conclusion: a blatant lack of hospitality in total opposition to the friendly spirit that is the DNA of bed and breakfasts.

Being unknowingly received
If you book with Tib, you will receive by email the rules of procedure from which I extract some good remarks. It is then up to you to decide if you accept these conditions of welcome, to say the least unusual and unwelcoming...
“Thank you for your reservation and please read the rules carefully:
-The guest room is not a place freely open to the public: There is no free access during the day the house is closed.
-It is forbidden to stay in the room between 11:00 and 17:00 even during long stay.
-For the tranquility of the place the entrance door is closed at 23:00, being a family bed and breakfast and not a hotel, cottage or furnished tourism there is no key for our guests.
-Late returns are prohibited (Weddings, birthdays, parties, etc...),
-Regarding our various services mentioned in the rates displayed in the room, they are all paid: Nothing's free.
Article 6: Early check-in possible: from 14:00: an extra charge of 10 euros per hour will be requested upon arrival in cash payment only.
-If you wish to drop off your luggage only after 2:00 p.m. and before 5:00 p.m., you will be asked 5 euros per bag, cash payment only.
No food storage in our refrigerator.”

a welcome opposite to the conviviality of a guest room
we had booked a night at Tib for our trip to Tregunc weekend.
After confirming the reservation we received a document consisting of fifteen prohibited items!
we gave up the project to go to Tib, given the total lack of pleasure to receive, one of the fundamentals for bed and breakfasts that we practice for 40 years!

Dishonest thieves
Disastrous experience with these hosts of unacceptable bad faith.
We had booked for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby.
We arrive on the big day at 3 p.m. The host explains to us that he cannot give us the room before 5 p.m., that it is written in his T&Cs on the site. We are very surprised because this information does not appear anywhere, neither during the reservation procedure nor on the confirmation email.
We tell him that we have to go to the wedding ceremony at 3:30 p.m., and that we have no other place to get ready. "How ?" he answers us. "Are you coming for a wedding?! That's not going to be possible then, because we close the house in the evening at 11 p.m., no returns are accepted after this time, and there's no question of leaving you a key, so either you come back before 11 p.m., or I won’t take you.”
New surprise....
We apologize for arriving too early, and are trying to discuss to find a solution. We suggest getting dressed in the garage, coming back at 5 p.m. to get the room, and trying to find a compromise for the evening.
The host doesn't want to hear anything, he refuses to honor the reservation, referring us to his T&Cs, which "we just had to read before booking or call for information".
I would like to point out that the T&Cs are well hidden on the website, and are not presented to customers at any time during the reservation (for example, no window confirming that we have read and accepted the T&Cs before validating the reservation). Furthermore, I had called before making my reservation, he had just told me on the phone that reservations were only made via the internet, without of course specifying these unusual conditions.
We try to explain to him that we have no alternative, and that we are up against the wall.
He doesn't care and carefully explains to us, once again, that it's all our fault, that we just had to read the T&Cs.
Of course, payment is charged upon booking. We therefore ask at least to be reimbursed, given that he refuses to honor the reservation because our program does not suit him.
He looks down on us and categorically refuses. No discussion possible, no empathy. Funny mentality when you choose a service profession, in the hospitality sector.
We are very naive, for them, it is clearly a purely mercantile (secondary) activity, carried out without any passion (nor compassion for the customers whom they shamelessly let sleep in their car...)
We understand from our discussions with the host that our mishaps are frequent, he barely brags about it.
The tone rises, he doesn't bat an eyelid, his scam is well-rehearsed.
The locals to whom we then told our experience showed no surprise, this couple is known for their inhospitality and bad faith.

je vois que vous avez pris la peine de créer un profil Tripadvisor pour déverser votre haine dans ce commentaire.
Avez vous l'habitude d'aller dans les commerces quand ils sont fermés ? et de ne jamais lire les CGV; si c'est le cas je ne peux rien pour vous...
Vous avez bien évidemment omis dans votre texte d'indiquer que vous m'aviez frappé, que votre compagnon était obligé de vous ceinturer et d'essayer de vous raisonner sans succès... Surement une attitude normale vous concernant...
Un manque flagrant d'éducation dans votre comportement.
Heureusement que vous êtes un acte isolé sur les centaines de personnes que nous recevons depuis des années.
Bonne réservation ailleurs...
