Marie, the check in manager is horrible

Marie the check-in manager is horrible. First our group was moved from the montparnasse hotel to this property days before the start of our reservation.
She said check in was at 4 pm. However our rooms were ready at 2:30 and we asked to check in early because, since we were now further away from our planned itinerary, once we left the hotel we would not return till close to midnight.
According to Maria no exceptions could be made even though the hotel already inconvenienced us with the move. This was an opportunity for her to make an unfortunate situation a bit better but she refused. Sad really. I'll never stay at a Pullman property ever again if I can choose.

Staff were not empathetic to needs of requiring water at midnight. But luckily the manager on duty took a call and helped us. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is great. Hotel has great amenities and restaurants. Food is excellent.

Pleasant stay... A few possible improvements.

One-night stay in this hotel.
Quick check-in with a particularly friendly young woman who offered us an upgrade to a junior suite for a quieter stay and effectively explained the workings of the hotel and its facilities.
The room was spacious, clean, and quiet with large bay windows.
The staff is courteous and helpful.
The location is very convenient, close to the Lyon train station, the Bercy Village with its cafes and restaurants, and just a short walk from metro line 14.
The downsides:
- The room was a bit worn with peeling paint on the cabinets, no hangers in the entryway closet, and some signs of wear on the carpet.
- We booked a time slot for the spa (9 PM - 10 PM) during the hours reserved for adults and were unpleasantly surprised to find children with a ball screaming and jumping in the pool, with parents who were clearly aware that they were outside the family hours but claimed they had received permission from the front desk... It was quite difficult to relax under these conditions.
It's a shame because the place is rather pleasant.
- The breakfast: We have stayed in other Pullman hotels where the breakfast buffets were very good. Here, we were disappointed. The buffet is quite poor overall, lacking yogurt and dried fruits... The layout of the buffet is inconvenient and sometimes leads to significant wait times. Especially, there was no restocking after 9:30 AM... We asked and waited in vain for bacon and waffles...
This will not prevent us from returning, but I believe improvements are necessary.

Very beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris.

High-end hotel, with very comfortable rooms (especially the junior suites!), a surprising and quiet terrace, and a top-notch spa both for its facilities and the professionalism of its staff (kudos to Shana for the high quality of the treatments provided!).
Not to forget the restaurant, which is also very good.
Ideal for a very relaxing break in the heart of Paris!
