My favourite hotel this year!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Denis the night manager was particularly lovely, but all of the staff were great.
The meal in the restaurant was good quality and tasty. The bar and outdoor seating area were very relaxing and we also enjoyed a dip in the pool. There was a very modest supplement for our dog, but she was welcome in all areas. Nothing negative to say and we'll definitely be back. We'll done!

Cold hotel and awful restaurant.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very unsmiling receptionist and some very dead plants! Not a good start. The room was cold but we went for dinner and presumed it would warm up. It didn't and we later went and complained and was told that they had forgotten to turn it on for our arrival. The bathroom was very grim, see photos and was cold because the system that fed the radiator had not been working for two weeks so we were told the net morning. As for dinner, after seeing the state of the disgusting carpet on the stairs down to the restaurant, we should have known it was not going to be a good experience but we stupidly carried on. We chose a table and it turned out to be not very warm so when the waited came to take our order we asked to move, which we did and then he walked off and didn't talk our order for another 10 minutes despite the restaurant being quiet. The first course came and was fine, we had to ask for bread. Then came the main course (with no cutlery which I again had to ask for). It was cold so we sent them both back and they brought our exactly the same food we had sent back. It was now over cooked and very unappetising and still not particularly hot so we gave up and said we did not want it. The manager came and apologised and said they would cook us fish food and we said they should have done that when we sent it back the first time. We refused his offer and he offered us a drink in the bar upstairs which we accepted and had with a bag of crisps out of our vehicle! The waited in the restaurant clearly has a problem with English even though I spoke to him in French. We complained the next morning and they had a lovely woman on reception who did apologise profusely and did not charge us for the food the previous night. The only saving grace in the whole debacle was Boris, the deputy manager (I think) and the lovely woman on reception the next morning. Never again.

Very good, but a few points to improve, including the balcony access being prohibited for safety reasons....

Pure racism.

Review filtered on Google, so we are trying here.
The stay was a disaster. I would not have thought I would endure such humiliation in a hotel that is highly rated on Google, but now I understand that everything is filtered.
My family and I have experienced incredible racism, with alerts everywhere thinking we would leave without paying.
A service that was deplorable towards us, I specify, and not towards the other hotel guests.
I do not recommend this hotel if you have dark skin.

Disappointed by the misleading SPA + massage service.

AVOID.. ... Services with OFFERS AND DISCOVERIES.. we purchased 2 services and enjoyed the first one at the end of April, which offered us 2 hours of Spa and 30 minutes of massage for 60 euros... NO PROBLEM.. everything is going well.. For the second one we did on this day, June 8, we did not receive the 30 minutes of massage. I had invited a friend for her birthday, and I was very disappointed with this response, which was a bit vague and not justified by a SPA employee at first, and then by a person who claimed to be in charge but could not even explain why we had not been registered for the massage. Supposedly, we had it the first time, and it was a mistake .. While on the voucher "offers and discoveries," it was listed for both services. She even told us that she did not know what they included in their promotion. LOL.. I STILL THINK THEY WORK IN PARTNERSHIP, DON'T THEY?? Poor girl, let her find another job, one that is responsible!! Finally, to say that their spa is already 60 euros for 2 people for 2 hours, which means they do NOT offer ANY INTERESTING PRICES, OTHERWISE THE SAME AS AT QUINTESSIA... We did not gain anything at all...
FALSE ADVERTISING.. TO BE REPORTED.. They should align their offers and discoveries with QUINTESSIA... They might risk being less ridiculous...
