Le Clos D’Olea is The perfect place to base your stay in Provence as well as a destination in its own right.

Le Clos D’Olea was wonderful in every way! The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Common spaces including kitchen, patio, pool and courtyard we’re inviting and had everything we needed to feel comfortable including cutlery, serviceware, glasses, tea cups and coffee mugs, games, plenty of umbrellas for shade and plenty of loungers. There was even a washer and dryer for complementary use. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We can’t wait to come back!

Dream weekend in the heart of the Luberon

We spent a great weekend in love in the beautiful guest house @leclosdolea facing a breathtaking life on Oppede the Old. The charming and welcoming young owners have made their estate a superb and tasteful place. The sublime tangy apricot room allowed us to enjoy freshness and comfort while it was overwhelming heat. Just like the nice pool. Thank you for your welcome and your smiles @leclosdolea
We treasure the address of this magical place. And why not next time in one of your cottages??

Superb estate

At the Clos d’Olea everything has been thought and developed with care:
- the renovation of the buildings is exemplary with authentic and beautiful materials
- the rooms are very well equipped, the bedding is excellent
- impeccable cleanliness
- the bathrooms offer spectacular showers.
The welcome of the owners is very friendly.
Breakfast is really complete, difficult to do better.
We also enjoyed:
- the swimming pool
- the common room with dishes and coffee machine
- the large garden furniture in the courtyard
-the games made available.
We liked everything and will come back with great pleasure.

Nice place but the service….

The place is very nice and the rooms are correct. No reason to write to the family either. On the other hand, plan not to need anything. We had the audacity to ask for ice cubes and the response was “we don’t have any” well, too bad, would you have any cold water? “you have tap water.” You will not be bothered by the owners even for check out you must leave the keys in the boxes. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good and the swimming pool area was also very good. Beautiful location. In the end, for a short stay it’s doable.

Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre expérience et que la situation et nos services vous ait convenu pour votre séjour d'une nuit.
Nous n'avons, effectivement pas pu répondre à votre demande "tardive" de glaçon, nous proposons un service de chambres d'hôtes et de gîtes, nous n'avons pas de Room service sur place.
Nous avons été très heureux de pouvoir vous aiguiller sur les différents restaurant et lieux se situant aux alentours pour votre soirée.
Concernant le retour des clés, comme souligné gentiment de votre part, nous portons un grand soin au petit déjeuner afin de pouvoir prendre du temps avec vous et d'échanger sur votre séjour, et comme vous l'aurez remarqué, vous n'étiez pas les seul clients ce matin là, c'est pour cette raison que nous vous demandons de déposer vos clés à leur place.
Nous serions ravis de vous accueillir de nouveau.

Take it or leave it

Disappointing experience due to the attitude of the (young) managing couple. We booked a room on March 28th. The only remaining one was the Chambre Romatique Dorée at Euro 200.00 a night. Once there we inquired about the breakfast times and were told that the room has been converted into a Gîte (self catering appart) and breakfast was no longer part of it. This info was not communicated and no were indicated. Their website, room directory, in room price déclaration and signs posted at the entrance, still declare this chambre as a”room”. We paid the full price for it but didn’t get the services.
By the way, there is no TV nor a safety deposit in the room, pool was open but not heated, no pool towels in the room, spider web and dust balls under the bed, ants crawling on the floor. The roof above the terrace is not properly finished as per local standards.
With the “conversion” into a Gîte, the bed was moved from its original spot to the opposite wall, leaving a “golden” square on the place it used to be. There are bay windows on both sides (courtyard and terrace). To have privacy, one needs to close the curtains on the courtyard side as it is a passage way to the parking. When leaving the room, curtains cannot be closed properly as door is blocked by them. (Photos are available if interested).
We did mention some of this to the couple. Responses on the defensive side and “anyhow” the place is rented all the time, so what…
