Close to everything from transport to shops
The hotel is so close to the city centre and Also Nice Ville gare main train station. The hotel rooms were very clean, had a safe and flatscreen tv . There is also an aircon and an empty fridge. The hotel is dated but the cleaners and housekeeping do a great job of ensuring its cleanliness.
I got the tram from the airport which had another story attached. Just get on the tram and get off at the first stop and purchase your ticket / card. Note please you must have card or coins as it doesn’t accept paper cash. The ticket will cost €1.70 . If you purchase at the airport you will pay €10-00 as that’s the only amount it accepts. So, if unsure go to the tourist information office in the airport terminal for advice.

Fine
Spent three nights here and only really slept in the place. The room was clean and comfortable but was on the ground floor so there was a little bit of noise from people passing through but never late on. Only met staff when checking in and out. Good location in city centre, near the train station and about 15 minute walk to the beach. Decent for what I paid and would consider staying again if ever in Nice.

We stayed four nights at Paganini, and unfortunately the experience was quite subpar for the price. We initially booked a first-floor room, but it overlooked an employee courtyard, smelled strongly of mold, and had surprisingly noisy lights. We paid an additional €60 to upgrade to a second-floor room, which was much better, but it shouldn’t be necessary to pay extra just to get a barely comfortable room.
On top of that, we had extremely cold showers on two of our four nights, with no hot water despite waiting up to an hour. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but overall, the experience was not worth the high price for what was ultimately a very average room.

Air conditioning is good but the breakfast isn’t worth 12 euros a person. Better off going to little cafe down the road

The room we booked was very small. Really not even enough room for 2 suitcases, so we had to put 1 by the door, meaning we couldn’t open it fully.
The bathroom was also quite small, but at least roomy enough to move around. The shelf above the sink was on a lean, and you couldn’t really put anything on it. The shower head didn’t stay upright, meaning we had to hold the shower head every time we showered.
It was dated room with cracks in the walls and old carpet. It was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable enough. But I wouldn’t stay here again.
The staff were nice, and held our bags for us after checking out.
The location is good - it’s walkable and there are lots of restaurants around.
