Clean and good location
I stayed here two nights. Room is clean. Shower is minuscule, but good water pressure. My tv didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it but the staff was very nice. Right off the Jean medecin tram stop, around corner two minutes. Flat walk with luggage. Although many homeless live right in front of tram stop. The walk into town was 11 minutes and easy directly to beach. Close to shopping. Overall I’d stay here again if I need a cheap clean hotel.

Wonderful stay in Nice
We stayed at Hotel Florence in Nice and had the best experience! The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast included all local ingredients from various regions in the Southern part of France. The front desk staff was very helpful and Marine who works in the breakfast room was very helpful. I am gluten free and every morning she made sure my bread was hot and waiting for me. Excellent service.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Nice!!
It is located within walking distance to all stores and Old Town Nice.
The director/ manager was so nice as well and made sure we were very happy!

Pleasant stay
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Florence. We had booked the junior suite for three adults. We were told it would suit 3 adults and one child but it was one bed and one sofa bed in a room that was quite tight. We had been advised it was a very spacious suite when booking so this was a bit disappointing. And it was an expensive room!! Also as a vegetarian the breakfast was disappointing so we only had breakfast there the first morning. I’m giving it 4 stars as the staff were so lovely. Especially Maria, Eloise, and Hanna. These girls were very attentive snd accommodating and definitely a huge asset to Hotel Florence. Overall as our first visit to Nice it was a pleasant stay but I wish they had advised that the suite would be tight for 3 adults ( small bathroom too). Especially as the cost of the suite for the week was high.

I had a great time as a solo traveller, the hotel staff were really helpful and it all felt really safe and welcoming. When there was a small problem with my room, as soon as I let the receptionist know, she immediately offered to either fix the problem or move me to a new room. Customer service was absolutely fabulous and so was the new room!!
The only thing that I would say is that the furnishings and furniture in the original room on the 5th floor were worn and seemed quite old.
The location was great, right by the tram stop for Jean Médecin and only a few minutes walk to Place Massena. The street that the hotel is on was nice too, there is a good Carrefour express two minutes walk away as well!
