Good clean swimming pool.
We didn’t meet many staff, those we did were helpful. The barman would sell more drinks if he was cheerful rather than just doing his job.
We had a large room with a balcony, (there was a teacup left on it).
Separate toilet and shower room which is a little unusual nowadays.
Not the best shower, but ok, a little bit of black mould on the sealant.
Plenty of free parking.
We would stay there again.

Great hotel for short stays
The carpeting gives an old-fashioned look to the rooms and public areas. Large shaded parking lot.
The charming town is within walking distance but there is also plenty of parking space.

Our peaceful, leafy setting, whilst being close to the treasures of Hardelot, seems to have been the ideal place to offer you a relaxing French getaway. We are delighted that your spacious room, and the meticulous care taken with its upkeep, helped to make your stay a most enjoyable one.
We place particular importance on the variety and quality of our breakfast, and your compliments on this matter mean a great deal to us. There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a gourmet breakfast featuring carefully selected produce.
The swimming pool, which you described as superb, is indeed the perfect place to relax, and we are delighted that you were able to enjoy it.

Shameful
I had booked several months in advance, expressly requesting two connecting rooms, because I am traveling with three minor children. I had even taken the trouble to call the hotel before our arrival to ensure that this request had indeed been recorded. I was confirmed that it had.
Upon our arrival, in the middle of the night after a wedding, we discovered two separate rooms. It is totally unacceptable. I am obviously not going to let minor children sleep alone in a room.
I go to look for the receptionist, whom I find outside the hotel, on the phone. I wait for him to finish his conversation calmly to finally hear: "I can't do anything." When I ask to speak to a manager, I am told that he is away for the weekend and that he must not be disturbed!
So, when it comes to collecting a reservation, there are plenty of people. On the other hand, when a family finds itself in an unacceptable situation in the middle of the night, no one takes responsibility anymore.
No solution, no apology, no professionalism. An essential request, confirmed several times, was not respected. Customer service is simply nonexistent.
I absolutely do not recommend this establishment to families. A scandalous experience that certainly does not deserve the price paid

Si je peux entendre votre étonnement quant à l'erreur d'attribution de votre chambre, dont je vous prie encore une fois de bien vouloir nous excuser, je me dois cependant de rétablir la vérité concernant le déroulement de votre séjour.
Lors de votre arrivée tardive, et suite à votre sollicitation, l'ensemble de notre équipe s'est mobilisée pour chercher une solution. Comme vous l'indiquez, notre hôtel étant complet, il nous était malheureusement impossible de réaliser dans l'immédiat un changement de chambre. C'est pourquoi, notre responsable présent cette nuit-là a tenu à vous faire bénéficier d'un geste sur votre réservation.
Je conçois naturellement votre désarroi face à cette situation, mais tiens à vous assurer que le bien-être et la sécurité de nos hôtes demeurent au cœur de nos préoccupations. Comme en témoignent les nombreux commentaires partagés ici, notre établissement accueille régulièrement des familles qui apprécient aussi bien la quiétude de notre cadre que la disponibilité et la bienveillance de nos équipes.
Une erreur humaine peut malheureusement survenir. Lorsque cela se produit, nous avons à cœur de la reconnaître et de faire tout notre possible pour en atténuer les conséquences.
Nous resterons toujours attentifs aux demandes de nos hôtes et ouverts au dialogue, dans le cadre d’une relation fondée sur l’écoute, la confiance et une courtoisie réciproque. C’est dans cet esprit que nous continuerons à accompagner chacun avec attention et bienveillance.
