usual high HotelF1 standards

typical F1 hotel on estate next to a few restaurants and easy ride, bus or taxi into chartres. Does what it says on the tin, have used F1 hotels many times and always decent standard and price, you get what you pay for so good value. Hotel just undergone a refurb which was nice, clean and tidy as usual, reception welcoming and helpful.

A sad experience not to be repeated

No parking, no sheets, toilet and shower on the landing, the room looks like a cell. We did not sleep there but changed our arrangements for a more hygienic and secure establishment. To be absolutely avoided.
The service staff, who remain helpful and charming, cannot raise the level of the establishment despite their efforts.

They are thieves !!

How can I express my disgust for this type of establishment... When I see the very negative opinions on this hotel it's not surprising. I am still waiting for a refund for my room which was canceled free of charge, but that did not stop them from charging the night's stay. I've been fighting with them for over a month, well when I say "with them"... I'm fighting alone since no one responds to my messages. However, they did receive a screenshot of my bank statement which proves the debit. I am disgusted by such dishonesty. It's not my unfortunate 54 euros that are going to save their cash flow.. They let it happen, surely thinking that it's the booking platform that will reimburse me, it's disgusting!!

Never again

Nothing is going well in this establishment...
Misleading website photos, hotel (renovated) probably 10 or 15 years old but not less (peeling paint in the rooms), dirty room, dust on the headboard, window frame and TV. Dirt on the floor, dusty and dirty underbed, spider webs around the lamps, disgusting mirror and sink. Not even a cup in the room. Tourist tax to be added upon arrival, although when booking you are written in black and white "fees and taxes included". As for breakfast... don't expect to find croissants, pain chocolat, ham, etc...
Honestly, a lot of nonsense.

Sweatbox with bugs

Tried to sleep there last night so hot neither myself, my husband or my 11 year old daughter could sleep. bugs everywhere. air con was advertised but no aircon available. Pay a little more and get somewhere decent. Breakfast cost 3 euro something each and was bread and cereal. Will never use again!!!
