Only if you can't find anything else

The room is in great need of renovation! The photos posted by Ibis are misleading. It looks like modern rooms but on site, it looks more like a room from the sixties that has aged badly. The bathroom shows serious traces of humidity on the ceiling among others. The maids are doing their best and it is clean but the hotel lacks love and is in GREAT need of renovations. Furthermore, I was unable to reach anyone by phone. However, my email was quickly answered to explain the late arrival procedure.

Simply dreadful.

I rarely write reviews as I understand the difficulties facing hotels nowadays, as regards to the cost of everything, but I really have to say something about this one…I use Ibis hotels a lot and this is the worse one I have ever stayed in! When you arrive the peeling paint on the windows and the large piece of wall that has dropped off near the entrance is rather off putting, but the room was way worse than that!
Dreadful smell on entering ( drains), curtain hanging off the track, more peeling paint, two chipped metal stools used as bedside cabinets!! The shower head dangled off a fitment that was too small to hold it and was very loose anyway… you literally couldn’t stand under the shower, you had to hold it. The shower tray had dirty grouting, and a very thin, useless shower curtain.
Nearly all the paintwork in the room was chipped. It was without a doubt the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.
The man behind the desk was absolutely charming and was obviously doing his best, but Accor hotels need to throw a lot of money at this place… I certainly will never go back and will stay at the B&B hotel just down the road when I return this way.

Simple, cheap and friendly

Simple but clean hotel and very well placed in ZA to eat in the evening.
A capital for the great kindness of the staff, whether on the phone or on site. Smile, sweetness and services were combined.
I recommend for a stage night.

Arrived at 10pm with 2 kids after a long journey couldn’t check in at the self check in - the man on reception was helpful & we managed to check in quite quickly - 2 rooms as they didn’t have availability for 2 adults & 2 children in one room - rooms were next to each other but one absolutely stunk so we ended up in one room - 2 on the floor 2 in the bed - noisy all night people banging doors and talking, room was so hot none of us could sleep even with the fan on as it was so noisy !! Tried to get some water from the vending machine & there was none - Hardly any sleep we ended up leaving at 6am just to get out of there - overpriced - very basic - would never stay again! Avoid if possible !
