Good hotel
Stayed here for one night.
The staff at Check in was really nice ans we felt welcome.
The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and offer a good night sleep.
The Highlight was defenitly the Pool, out Kids enjoyed it very much.
The breakfast was good, too with a lot of choices.

Nice hotel let down by rip off restaurant
Lovely hotel, but restaurant truly awful. Tiny portions, 3 out of our 4 dishes were tasteless and priced at a level that suggested they are exploiting a perceived monopoly. €100 for 4 small plates of food an outrage. Such a disappointment, as the rest of the hotel does exactly what it needs to do. Eat elsewhere !!

Unbelievably poor
Do not go near the restaurant. So short staffed. Explained an allergy and just got told ‘impossible’ for every course. Rude staff hugfed and puffed after leaving us an hour before taking drinks order reverting to chat GBT to explain why a tomato couldn’t be left out of a burger because it was pre-cooked with a tomato in it in the afternoon. The hotel was perfect for what we needed, reception and bar staff delightful but the restaurant made McDonald’s up the road appeal like a luxury. Such a shame and poor start to our France trip.

A Genuine Stopover Hotel
Stayed twice in the last month at this hotel which we have been using probably for the last 25 years. Its mostly a genuine stopover hotel. The evening meal provision is now much improved, although breakfast is a different matter with little food put up so choice is very limited if you can find it. The staff are very good.
Unfortunately on our last visit there was an issue with our executive room's air con - it did not work on a day at 38 degrees plus it is the top floor under a flat roof. We were moved to another room eventually but still the air con was very weak. On departure we were told that they had been experiencing air con issues and engineers had been trying to sort it out the previous week. We will be back again.

Refreshing break to be repeated
We took a refreshing break in Chartres with our children last Saturday. The hotel was great, the pool very pleasant, and the rooms for 4 are quite large. As for the restaurant, we have rarely been welcomed so well! It must be highlighted, the young woman who welcomed us and took care of us (Émeline) had a contagious smile and made us have a very good time! We hadn't reserved, the restaurant was packed, but she still found us a table. We ate very well, and great atmosphere with the soccer match broadcast! A lot of people at breakfast, we were able to have it on the terrace, very pleasant. We will be back!
