This is quite the place to stay!

This was a perfect nice room with terrace where breakfast was served each morning...and with views of the mountains. Not only the very nice room but the very nice owners who cannot do enough for you! Parking right beside the room so easy to unpack too. We enjoyed sitting in the yard near our terrace looking at the mountains over our Happy Hour wine!
This was very special...

Lovely quiet B&B

Le Baou is a wonderful small B&B in the French countryside, next to Annot village. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet and had a terrace with a garden view. The couple owning the place live upstairs and are amazingly warm and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious: bread, local jams, fruits, cheese, yogurt, juice and coffee... We had a really pleasant stay and highly recommend Le Baou.
One tip: the B&B is slightly hard to find - it is not quite where the map shows, but closer to the village and on the left side of the road (if driving from the village).

Highly recommended and not to be missed.

Sharon and I were looking for a retreat into the mountains and we could not have found a more beautiful spot. Jacques took time to take us up into the mountain above Annot, something not to be missed. We were thoroughly spoilt with a delicious breakfast by Julienne - thank goodness for the daily hikes!!. Their warm smiles and kindness made our last days in France something to remember. Next in France, take the little train trip from Nice to Annot, about 1 1/2 hours, and you will be rewarded with breath taking scenery on route, and say Hi! to those 2 special people. From Michele and Sharon (Cape Town SA).

An example of perfect hospitality

We stayed in this B&B with my wife end of May 2013. The property has very nice garden with boules pit where Jacques taught me how to play. Julienne prepares a magnificent breakfast. I couldn't help myself taking a picture of it, see the pictures.
The entire family were perfect hosts and did everything to make us feel at home, including Jacques coming and sharing his own home made Genepi with us.
We only wish we could speak better French to communicate better with them to thank them for their hospitality and welcome.

Perfect

I stayed with a group of friends for one night. We had a great little apartment with everything we needed. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible! Everything we could ever want was provided. The location is good- just outside of town but within easy walking distance and close to supermarket also. I would love to come back and stay for longer.
