An amazing experience

Just spent seven wonderful days at La Maison in Doha. A fantastic and affordable hotel. Always clean and well maintained, with exceptional service from all staff members.
We experienced an incident that was not primarily the hotel’s fault, yet they still took responsibility and handled it in the best possible way.
I therefore highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Doha. Centrally located with great connections to the rest of the city only a Uber or Taxi away!

VERY BAD HOTEL EXPERIENCE

Don’t come to this hotel. It used to be good before, but now they have changed all the staff. They don’t even have enough employees to provide proper service. The new staff are inexperienced, and the hotel quality has become very low.
They don’t even have porters to help carry luggage. Can you imagine a 4-star hotel like this? We had to wait for a security guard to assist, and he was not familiar with hotel procedures.
On top of that, the room service was extremely poor and unhygienic , and it felt as if everyone was new and did not know how to handle things correctly. Honestly, the whole experience was a nightmare.
My advice: avoid this hotel for your next visit to Doha.

Unimpressive

We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. It had a separate bedroom and kitchen. The room was dark, dingy and very dated. It smelled like someone had smoked cigars, especially in the bedroom. After opening the windows it got a little better. The bed, pillows and linens were reasonably comfortable. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was pretty bad. Mainly dry baked goods (but no butter), watery scrambled eggs and one mixed fruit salad. They were making a few egg items to order, nothing I wanted to try. We loved Qatar but not this hotel.

RUDE, UNDERTRAINED staff!!

I called to ask about hotel facility if you serve alcohol in IRD since i wanted to book.
Front Desk Agent Mohammad answered the call at 22:20.
As i asked the question he mentioned “no its a dry hotel, and CUT THE CALL ON MY FACE before i even ask another question!
I wanted to book the room for 10 days as i wanted a local getaway.
If this is how guest calls are answered then I can imagine if someone is staying in the room how terrible the service would be!!!!
Bloody disappointing experience !!!

There is nothing nice to say regarding our stay. As soon as we arrived to the hotel and entered the rooms we were met by a nasty smell, smelt like sweat. The floor was dirty and filled with something sticky. The beds were dirty and almost never changed even though we placed the signs on the beds that we wanted the sheets changed.
They remove the towels from the bathrooms but don’t get replaced with new ones so you always have to call to the front desk for some new towels.
People at the reception did not really welcome us the way we expected. we almost felt unwelcome.
The pictures that are presented at the website looks nothing like the reality.
