Ambiente hostal has everything

Beautiful old hostal decorated with taste. Nice music during the day. Enough clean bathrooms, beautiful kitchen. Few minutes from the metro and is in a residential area with everything within a minute or 5: pasteleria for coffee and breakfast, laundry, supermarket, restaurants, neighborhood supermarket, cafes, shops, etc.

Ambiente Hostel Great Value

The location was great. Close to many attractions and metro. The people were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed for 3 nights. Great value.

Cozy environment

Very comfortable environment, clean, organized and beautiful! I was in a very spacious room, with a small balcony, where you can sit and have coffee. In the common areas there is a work room with books and a TV room with games. I felt at home.
The location is also very good, as walking a few minutes you can be in markets, restaurants, shops, sights, laundry, gym.
The staff is always ready to help with everything necessary.
I recommend this hostel!
I liked it very much and will be back soon, if God wills.

Return

I stayed a few days in the private room and everything was great. The bathrooms are shared but very clean and never caught in queues. Friendly staff.

Rude front of house staff

The staff were incredibly rude to me and my children. I booked a two night stay with my 10 and 14 year old. The booking platform accepted the ages and our group but I guess the hostel only takes kids 12+. Still no reason to treat guests they way they did. They were vocally rude and on other occasions wouldn't even look at us. If I hadn't flown in on a red eye I would've asked to get a refund and find a place that would be nice to us. Very disappointing when you spend $300 CAD (yes that is what I spent, not necessary what the host received) for a hostel.
